The Disney Channel has pumped out some of the top stars of today. The child-based TV channel is known for picking some of the brightest talents with a good head on their shoulders before they've reached adulthood.

Sadly for Disney, many of the stars that they've brought to the spotlight have gone on to shed their Disney image. Afraid they'd be viewed differently for growing up by extreme Disney fans, some of the women on this list were nervous to mature and grow into a more adult setting. And while some of the stars on this list still have great ties with Disney and are still seen as good role models, others want nothing to do with Disney and go to the extremes to separate themselves.
