It's one thing to perform in front of a camera, and it's another to bring a fantastic voice-acting performance to the table. It's way easier to bring the immaculate vibes to the screen when acting in front of a camera, but you need a wild and creative imagination to translate what the writers and directors want into a voice-acting product in a cartoon series or movie.

Unfortunately, due to their already-impressive portfolio in acting, their voice-acting skill has somewhat been underrated to some extent. Known for his various satirical characters, Sacha Baron Cohen's in-your-face sense of humor is also portrayed beautifully in Madagascar. For all the three movies of the franchise, the British actor voiced King Julien XIII, a ring-tailed lemur who rules the Central Park Zoo in New York after previously being moved from his kingdom in Madagascar.

Angelina Jolie is a fantastic actress, having won an Oscar and three Golden Globe Awards and crowned as one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.

However, in the Kung Fu Panda series, fans can see Jolie like they never have before. The outspoken actress portrays Tigress, a South China female tiger and a member of the Furious Five quintet of skilled warriors in the country.

8 Justin Timberlake - Branch ('Trolls')

Justin Timberlake has proven himself as one of the most bankable male musicians ever, so it makes total sense when he joined the cast of the musical animated film, Trolls back in 2016.

The movie, which is a comedic musical jukebox based on the Troll Dolls, sees Timberlake as Branch, an over-cautious, pessimistic, but goodhearted survivalist Troll. In addition acting and sharing the sound stage with Anna Kendrick, Timberlake also contributed to the movie's soundtrack.

7 Fergie - Sally Brown ('Peanuts')

Before the world knew her as Fergie, the frontwoman of the Black Eyed Peas, Stacy Ferguson had her fair share of voice-acting credits under her belt. The Double Dutchess singer provided the work for Sally in It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Getting Married, and The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show respectively in 1984 and 1985.

Scarlett Johansson is a versatile entertainer. Not only is she fluent in kicking butt as Black Widow or bringing an explosive drama in Marriage Story, but the proud mother of one also voiced for SpongeBob SquarePants. In the 2004 movie adaptation, Johansson plays Princess Mindy, the daughter of King Neptune who later encourages SpongeBob and Patrick to go after the Shell City.

In fact, he appears in Nickelodeon's The Rugrats Movie and Rugrats series as the voice of the Reptar Wagon. His raspy and shouty voice helped him make the best out of the character.

3 Oprah Winfrey - Eudora ('The Princess And The Frog')

In addition to her outstanding work as a talkshow host, Oprah Winfrey is also a good voice actress. In the 2009 musical The Princess and the Frog, the Oprah Winfrey Show host voiced Eudora with helps from Japanese-American animator Ruben Aquino and her husband.

In fact, this wasn't Winfrey's first-ever foray into voice acting. In 2007's Bee Movie, she co-starred Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellweger as Judge Bumbleton.

2 Amanda Seyfried - Daphne ('Scoob!')

After securing dozens of prestigious titles on her already-impressive acting record, Amanda Seyfried ventured into voice acting in the 2020's comedy flick, Scoob!

The 35-year-old actress made her second foray into animated acting as Daphne Blake in Scoob!, years after debuting her voice-acting skills in 2013's Epic. Unfortunately, Scoob! was a commercial flop due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but it did top the digital rental charts in the first three weekends upon its release.

Another surprising celebrity to move into voice-acting work is Rihanna. In 2015, the Barbadian singer starred in Home alongside the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Jim Parsons. She also contributed to the movie's original score with Lo, Charli XCX, Jacob Plant, and many others. The movie, which was based on the 2007 children's book The True Meaning of Smekday, was a commercial success.
