The days of Breaking Bad may be long gone, but fortunately, show creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould still had one more thing in store for fans. Better Call Saul is the perfect companion to our favorite dark comedy. The series follows low-time lawyer Jimmy McGill as he finds himself trapped between his idealism and his grey morality. In short, if Breaking Bad entails Walter White's journey to be Heisenberg, Better Call Saul follows McGill's slow-but-sure transformation into the sleazy Saul Goodman.

But alas, Better Call Saul's curtain is about to close, too. And while we have seen some hints at Breaking Bad here and there, fans are still wondering one thing: will Walter White and Jesse Pinkman appear on Better Call Saul? In addition to Walter and Jesse, here are eight other Breaking Bad characters we'd love to see in Better Call Saul's final season this year.

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers from both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

10 Emilio Koyama

While his appearance in Breaking Bad wasn't a memorable one, Emilio Koyama was once Jesse Pinkman's trusted partner. Before working for Walter White, Pinkman met with the right-hand man of Krazy-8 when they were little. Krazy-8 has already had his series of appearances in Better Call Saul, and it'll be interesting to see how the writing room might  explore his relationship with Emilio.

9 Jack Welker

Jack Welker is the leader of the Neo-Nazi gang that eventually kidnapped Jesse and forced him to cook. There isn't much to be acknowledged from this character besides his leadership of the gang, leaving Better Call Saul writers with a ton of flexibility to bring Uncle Jack back. Maybe at some point, Mike Ehrmantraut has run-in with the former assassin?

8 Skyler White

Many fans despised Skyler White for being the sharp-minded, independent woman that tried to stop Walt (given Walter is the protagonist of the show, despite his illegal behavior), but we haven't thanked Anna Gunn enough for the work she put into making her character so believable. Although the actress freely admitted to New York Times that she had a hard time portraying the character, a little cameo before Breaking Bad's timeline would be nice.

7 Marie Schrader

Marie Schrader was Hank's only sole support system when his life crumbled after a near-death encounter with the Twin. Her husband already scored a cameo during the fifth season of Better Call Saul, and maybe before the show ends the time will just right to bring some more purple to life in the show.

6 Todd Alquist

Until his death by the hands of Walter White's gun-blazing vehicle, Todd Alquist was a perfect monstrous antagonist. Little is known of his past except that, at some point, he served as an enforcer of his uncle's violent Neo-Nazi gang. He once revealed that he was bailed out by Saul Goodman, so there's a hint that the character may be on the verge of a comeback in the Breaking Bad "prequel."

5 Skinny Pete

Skinny Pete was a good friend to Jesse. When Jesse asked him why'd he bothered to aid his escape, Pete simply assured that he'd done it out of his admiration of Jesse. Their friendship was wholesome at its best, and it'll be heartwarming to see what Skinny Pete's life was like before Heisenberg started the fire.

4 Steve Gomez

Steven 'Steve' Gomez was a DEA agent and Hank's right-hand man in Breaking Bad. He appears in the fifth season of Better Call Saul as a cameo performer, but it'll be great to see him more. Thanks to his Latino background, Gomez claims to have more knowledge about Mexican cartels than Hank. As the DEA in Better Call Saul keeps tailing Lalo Salamanca and his cartel, we can probably expect more from this character during the finale.

3 Hank Schrader

Another DEA agent, Hank Schrader was so close to capturing Heisenberg. It was his masculinity ideal that shielded him from viewing the real Walter White for so long, and it was already too late when he found out. In Better Call Saul, we'd explore more of the goofy side of the agent before the Heisenberg trainwreck commenced.

2 Jesse Pinkman

If Walter White transformed from a low-time chemistry teacher into a ruthless drug dealer, then it can be said that Jesse Pinkman changed from a sleazy and careless juvenile into the show's moral compass. However, as Breaking Bad is set several years after Better Call Saul, we'd see the more reckless and rebellious side of Pinkman if he got a cameo in the final season.

1 Walter 'Heisenberg' White

Any Breaking Bad story or form of art wouldn't be complete without Walter 'Heisenberg' White. We've seen some hints in Better Call Saul about the meth kingpin, and it's about time fans find out if Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have all the answers to some of their  burning questions about the Breaking Bad universe.
