It seems as if when you’re a celebrity, it’s an unspoken rule that you’re supposed to have social media and use it constantly. That may be true for many celebrities, however, there are a number of stars that are actually not huge fans of social media, and don’t use it at all. In fact, there are a handful of celebs who don't even have social media since they're so against using it.
There are many reasons why a handful of celebrities don't have social media — whether they don't like the concept, don't feel comfortable sharing private information about themselves, or are just old school, many choose not to for their own reasons. From Jennifer Lawrence to Daniel Radcliffe, Brad Pitt, and Scarlett Johansson, a number of your favorite celebrities aren't on social media and won't be any time soon.
10 Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence is arguably one of the most famous actresses out there today — one that would have millions upon millions of followers on all social media, except, she doesn't have any. Jennifer has been very outspoken about social media and why she doesn't have any, claiming that personally, she just isn't a fan. She respects that people love social media and understand why it's a huge part of life, but it's not something that's really for her. She claims that she's not really good at using technology, and she can barely keep up with emails, let alone social media.
9 Tina Fey
Tina Fey is one of the funniest women in Hollywood, and there's no doubt that we would love to have her presence on social media. She would be hilarious on Twitter, as we would love to hear her constant thoughts on anything and everything. Unfortunately for us, Tina refuses to join any sort of social media. When asked why she refuses to join Twitter or any form of social media? She replied with the perfect comeback: "Why would I give my jokes away for free?" And you know what, she's got a point.
8 Emma Stone
When it comes to actress Emma Stone, she has a similar opinion about social media to Jennifer Lawrence. She doesn't think that social media is something that's for her, but thinks if you want to use social media, well, more power to you. Emma has said that she doesn't think that social media wouldn't be a positive thing for her. She claimed that she struggled with feeling like that she was being constantly scrutinized, which is why she's not particularly interested in joining social media any time soon.

Actress Mila Kunis is another actress that really isn't into social media. When social media initially started becoming more and more popular Mila wasn't immediately interested in it, not really understanding the purpose of it. On top of that, Mila has said that she thinks a lot of social media apps can be a little negative. Not only that, but Mila also doesn't like the thought of documenting her life on social media like many other users, including other celebrities. Mila likes to keep her private life a little more private, and as a result, she also won't be joining social media any time soon.
6 Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel Radcliffe is Harry Potter. He will always be known for the role, no matter what else he does with his career. That being said, there's no doubt that he would have millions of followers on social media — if he had it. Daniel has his own reasons for not wanting to be on social media, and that's basically because he doesn't feel comfortable with being on social media, period.
Social media is a bit overwhelming to him, and he doesn't feel like he has the "mental fortitude" to join any social media platforms. In fact, he thinks that if he were on social media, he'd be getting into fights basically all of the time. Safe to say that we won't be seeing Daniel Radcliffe on social media any time soon.

After Kristen Stewart starred in Twilight as Bella Swan, her career, and fame skyrocketed. You'd think that Kristen would be huge on social media, however, she refuses to use it, and doesn't plan on joining any platforms any time soon. Because of her intense fame so fast, Kristen has felt that she needs to be extremely private when it comes to her personal life since so much of herself is already out there. She's gotten better with dealing with fame, but she still doesn't think that social media is something that's for her.

Brad Pitt is so insanely famous that it makes sense for him to have a social media account to engage with his millions of fans, right? However, fans really shouldn't hold their breath for a Brad Pitt selfie on Instagram any time soon as social media is definitely not in the cards for him, at least night right now. He claims he has said never say never to social media, but for right now, it's not something at the top of his to-do list, unfortunately.

George Clooney has stolen the hearts of millions over the course of his career, so why wouldn't he want to steal the hearts of millions on social media, too? According to George, however, it's something that he doesn't think is going to happen, simply because he loves to sit down and have a drink at night which he thinks could get himself into some serious trouble. He thinks that he might say something that will definitely get him some flack, so he doesn't he should be able to have access to something like that for that reason.
2 Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson is arguably one of the most famous actresses in Hollywood today, so it's another reason why she most likely should have a social media account. Despite all that, however, Scarlett doesn't have any social media and doesn't think she will any time soon. Scarlett thinks that social media is a little strange, as she really didn't grow up having any social media accounts.
As a result, social media networks like Twitter and Instagram really don't interest her. She's a very private person, and because of that, she doesn't feel the need to share personal information with everyone. So, sorry, Scarlett fans, she won't be joining the social media world any time soon.

Emily Blunt is yet another actress who doesn't have any social media accounts. Emily has said that she believes that social media has changed the world a lot, and when fans meet her, it becomes something more for social media rather than a genuine interaction. Emily also recognizes that celebrities use social media to help promote their work, however, she doesn't think that social media actually helps with that. In fact, she'd rather people watch the trailer or movie and decide if they like it or not. On top of that, she claims she's a dinosaur with technology, so you can count her out of social media, for sure.
