In a message uploaded on her website in honor of International Women's Day, Beyoncé Knowles praised Meghan Markle for her bravery and leadership. The note thanked Meghan for her leadership and courage, saying that she encouraged and strengthened everyone. This isn't the first time the singer has shown their approval of Meghan Markle.

During their 2019 Brit Award acceptance speech, Beyoncé and Jay-Z stood in front of a portrait of Markle. It has been alleged that Beyoncé and Meghan met for the first time during the 2019 premiere of The Lion King.

Serena Williams, the reigning women's tennis champion and a friend of Meghan's was a guest at the 2018 royal wedding. Amidst the criticism leveled at Oprah Winfrey's interview, the sister of Venus defended her pal in a public statement. Williams claims that Meghan regularly enlightens her on the meaning of true nobility.

The suffering and cruelty she has endured are reflected in her words. She added that she had first-hand experience with the sexism and racism perpetuated by institutions and the media against women and people of color to diminish, degrade, and dehumanize them and, by extension, all other people.

8 Patrick J. Adams

Before she became a duchess, Meghan Markle was an actor in the successful television series Suits. Former Suits co-star Patrick J. Adams has spoken about Markle's abuse on social media. Adams' character Mike Ross dated Markle's character Rachel Zane. It saddened him to read the continuous racist, defamatory, click-baiting hate thrown in her direction from all sorts of media across the UK and the world.

Actress Abigail Spencer who co-starred with Meghan on Suits, has also spoken out in support of Markle. The star posted a vintage photo of herself and Markle from her Instagram account before the interview with Oprah aired. She recalled some of her happiest times spent with Meghan in a lengthy post, adding that the Duchess and Prince Harry make an excellent pair.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix wrote an Instagram message specifically for Meghan Markle. Pinnock wrote a lengthy caption emphasizing the vulnerability of famous figures to unfounded criticism after they gain widespread recognition. She explained that this is something the public sees all the time, especially about women and, more importantly, women of color.

5 Jameela Jamil

Actor and presenter Jameela Jamil have also previously defended Meghan Markle from harsh media scrutiny. Jamil stated that the woman had told him that she had never seen a woman have to face so much public hate, slander, and jealousy as this very strong, gracious, and loving human. Jamil discussed how Piers Morgan's harsh criticism had affected her mental health in the wake of the backlash to his statements on Meghan Markle's mental health.

A former executive producer of Suits defended the California native, who stayed on the USA show for seven seasons until 2017. The Duchess of Sussex who follows a vegan diet is a lovely person who has been thrown into an impossible situation, he tweeted. He had worked with her for three years before she became a Duchess and remembered her as a warm, compassionate, and kind person.

3 Omid Scobie

Scobie, the author of the best-selling biography, Finding Freedom, which chronicles Meghan and Prince Harry's relationship, has also tweeted in defense of the Duchess. On August 22nd, he tweeted that he wished that the press instead directed the tears and energy these fools spend on a non-working royal on cleaning up Prince Andrew's horrible mess.

He added that Duchesses aren't expected to weigh in on political issues, but Meghan has advocated for social change with her words since she was a little girl, and her marriage to a prince shouldn't change.

2 Chrissy Teigen

Model Chrissy Teigen who's currently pregnant has defended Meghan, tweeting that the issue was striking too close to home for her. She added that the press wouldn't give up until she had a miscarriage. Teigen's 2020 miscarriage inspired her remarks, but she also brought up Meghan's 2017 miscarriage to emphasize the sorrow it may cause. The model had previously defended Meghan, most notably in November, when the Duchess revealed she had miscarried her and Harry's second child.

1 Silver Tree

Director Silver Tree, another Meghan's Suits family member, wrote an emotional tribute to her on his blog. When his son received a frightening diagnosis, she was the buddy who dropped everything to see him through it, as he described in his letter. He added that one of Meghan's talents was to give people the confidence to believe they could overcome any obstacle.
