They are known as one of Hollywood's most fabulous power-couples. But truth be told, the general population outside of their close circle really didn't even know they were together when actors Sacha Baron Cohen (of Borat fame) and Isla Fisher (of Wedding Crashers fame) first started dating.

We've known these two movie stars separately for quite some time, especially Sacha from when he first burst onto the scene and took no prisoners with his comedy chops. Isla has also succeeded in paving her own way in the comedy world and can easily go toe-to-toe with her famous husband in that genre. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have been together for 20 years, have three kids and have worked incredibly hard at keeping their private life very private. Here are 10 things we really never knew about their courtship and marriage.

Every relationship has its ups and downs, even celebrity relationships (like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West). When she was a guest star on Conan O'Brien's show, Isla Fisher said that being with a comedy actor of Sacha's magnitude can be a little bit challenging, and her family can be a tad judgy (in a fun way), especially when she watches his movies with family members.

While speaking with Conan, Isla recalled the one time she watched Bruno with her mother. "I was just staring at the screen, and I could feel my mom's eyes turned to me at one point...like, 'Really, you marr-this is it?'"

Couples helping each other better themselves and their career is always happy news. Isla said that it was her husband who encouraged her to shift from auditioning for dramatic roles and turn to comedy.

"Sacha was the reason I got into comedy," she said. "I was actually auditioning for a lot of dramatic roles and having no success at all. I was losing confidence in my abilities when he recommended that I do comedy. He felt I was really funny, so when someone as funny as him recommends that, I listened and actually auditioned for Wedding Crashers, which ended up being my big break."

Because Cohen's characters are so vivid, it makes sense that he can sometimes bring the office home with him, and Isla has pointed it out before. "Of course [he brings the character home,]" she said. "It's hard to drop the accent when you're doing it all day on set. He's such a perfectionist. He'll do everything and anything to get the best joke possible into the movie, so it was definitely inspirational."

Isla spoke about deciding to keep their three children out of the spotlight: "If you speak about your children or if you take them to a red carpet event, you can't be litigious later on when there is a picture of them in something and say, 'Hey, they deserve anonymity,' but they do. They have rights, too. It's a very conscious decision and truly I would feel really disgusting about myself if I used my family to sell something."
