8 She Started Auditioning For Roles As A Toddler
Many fans thought Gia was too young to appear on RHONJ, not realizing that in fact, Gia had gotten her start in the world entertainment when she was just a baby. Hollywood Life reports that she was merely a toddler when her parents began enrolling her in auditions. Among the many roles she tried out for when she was just a little toddler was the 2010 movie representation of Tooth Fairy. She ultimately didn't land the role but was likely far too young to know the difference, anyway.
7 She's More Resilient Than Most Kids
It's fair to say that Gia has gone through more turmoil in her life than most girls her age. As a result of being on the show, virtually no aspect of her life is actually private or confidential in any way.
She has made it through an entire childhood in front of the cameras, with two parents that are highly controversial characters. She has survived the incarceration of both parents, the deportation of her father and has had to be a caregiver and role model to her younger siblings. Yet, for the most part, Gia remains impressively positive and resilient.
6 She Sought Therapy To Handle The Stress
Of course, the stress of her upbringing and everything that has happened within her family has meant Gia has been under way more pressure than most young girls her age. She hasn't spoken out about receiving therapy, but during Season 10's RHONJ reunion, Teresa let the cat out of the bag and admitted that Gia had to seek therapy to overcome the stress and hardships.
The divorce and deportation battle were too much for her to handle alone.
5 She Got A Nose Job For Herself... Not For TV
In 2020, Gia went under the knife for a very controversial nose job. She was just 19 at the time, and people definitely had opinions about her seeking cosmetic surgery at such a young age.
US Weekly covered the news of the surgery, as Gia opened up about how hateful some of the online comments were. She went on record to write; "I am an adult now. This has been an insecurity of mine for a while and I’ve never been happier and so comfortable in my own skin!!" on her own Instagram page.
She struggled to justify to fans that this was something she did for herself, not for the sake of her public image.
4 Her Life Has Been On Display Since She Was Just 8-Years-Old
Many fans assume Gia's exposure to the cameras is something she grew up with and got used to, however what most don't recognize is the fact she was put on the show when she was 8-years-old, which is a critical time for a young girl in terms of growth. She was transitioning from having a seemingly normal lifestyle for the first, most impactful 8 years of her life, and had to get used to the sudden exposure and lack of privacy which suddenly became part of her new world.

In 2013, she started her very own girl band and dove right in to making music and expressing herself in a different way. The girl group was called 3KT, and they made a huge splash on the scene when they first started.
Unfortunately, when Gia's first music video debuted, it was perceived as being too risque for her age, and the fame of her group soon fizzled away.
