Schitt's Creek first came about back in 2015 and has since turned into one of the most successful comedies of today! The show, which was created by none other than the father and son duo, Eugene and Dan Levy, aired for a whopping six seasons before wrapping up the series.

The show, which is known for its name, filmed in Toronto, Canada with a mostly Canadian cast, leaving many to assume the show would never take off. Well, not only did it take off, but it scored the cast a collective nine Emmys!

The cast of Schitt's Creek is easily one of the most talented we've seen in a while, hence the non-stop critical acclaim, and it's all thanks to the stellar writing. Not only are the characters some of the most iconic, but the quotes to have come from the show are just as noteworthy, and here are 10 of the best!

10 Alexis' Catchphrase

Alexis was certainly an icon in and of herself and she acted as so! While she has had quite the past, it seems as if Alexis managed to adapt quite well to her new surroundings in Schitt's Creek, however, her relationship with her brother, David Rose, remained one worth watching.

One iconic line said throughout the series by Alexis is none other than "Ew, David," a line that is now recognized across the world, and it's all thanks to Alexis!

9 BéBé

Moira Rosa was quite the show stealer! The character was played by none other than the legend herself, Catherine O'Hara, and she put her own personal spin on Moira that fans couldn't get enough of.

While she wasn't the most motherly, Moira found herself having to deal with children a handful of times throughout the show, which led to her iconic phrase "Where is bebe's chamber?" when referencing Roland and Jocelyn's newborn.

8 12 Days Of Stevie

Stevie Budd is certainly a character we can all relate to! Emily Hampshire, who portrayed Stevie, certainly did a stellar job at portraying such the disinterested type, which made her a fan favorite.

While her life was less than stellar, Stevie always found the silver lining in situations, and the silver lining was usually a wine opener. Budd referred to the 12 Days of Christmas in a way that many of us can resonate with, saying "I have my own holiday tradition. It’s like the 12 Days of Christmas, but it’s one day with 12 bottles of wine.”

7 Moira's Favorite Season

Moira Rose took pride in being quite the star! While the praise and recognition stopped when she and the rest of the Rose family lost everything, she managed to find herself in Schitt's Creek and took on a big role as the Jazzagals co-leader and star of The Crows Have Eyes II: The Crowing.

So, when it came time for Alexis to ask Moira what her "favorite season" was, Moira responded "awards," which is nothing less than what fans would have expected!

6 Wine Preferences

Dan and Eugene Levy, the show creators, took pride in creating a diverse and inclusive television show that touched on an array of topics, especially sexuality. When it came time for Dan Levy's character, David Rose to come out as pansexual, he had quite a way to explain it.

While shopping for wine with Stevie, David let her in on his preferences, which take into consideration the personality rather than the person by saying, “I do drink red wine, but I also drink white wine. And I've been known to occasionally sample the rose, and a couple of summers back I tried a merlot that used to be a chardonnay. I like the wine, not the label.”

5 A Little Bit Alexis

If there is one takeaway from this show, it is none other than Alexis Rose's hit song, A Little Bit Alexis. Annie Murphy, who portrayed Alexis, actually channeled Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Kim Kardashian when she and her real-life gal pals wrote this song. It was later used for a scene in Schitt's Creek where Alexis auditions for cabaret!

"I have chosen to perform the title track off of my critically reviewed, limited reality series, A Little Bit Alexis. Feel free to sing along if you know the words!" While Moira is certainly getting a kick out of this, Jocelyn is certainly stunned, especially when Alexis begins to describe herself as, "a Lamborghini, a Hollywood star," and "a little bit tipsy"

4 Getting With The Times

Johnny Rose, played by Eugene Levy, is hands down the typical "dad" character! While he was once a multi-million dollar business owner, Johnny found himself going from the entertainment business to the motel industry. Despite his hardships, Johnny managed to adapt to the times, or at least tried to!

When it came to setting up social media for the motel, he discovered what a hashtag was for the first time. “A hashtag? Is that two words?” Johnny asked Stevie. As if that wasn't enough, he went ahead and urged guests to "Tweet us on Facebook!" Ah, classic Johnny Rose!

3 Ooh, Burn!

While Alexis certainly had her classic one-liners to shoot towards David's way, he also had a few zingers up his sleeve. Although embarrassing one another was their life mission, David always knew how to get under Alexis' skin.

Despite having a close relationship, their moments of bickering were always a scene-stealer, especially when David told Alexis to "Eat glass!" Not only are the lines absolutely genius but the delivery is all that better, which is exactly what made David and Alexis the best on-screen duo!

2 We Belong Together

When David and Patrick first met, it was clear the two were meant for one another. While there were major "will they, won't they" vibes at the start of the relationship, it became evident that they were not just great business partners, but the ideal duo to date when Patrick referred to David in the best way possible.

After declaring his love for David, Patrick looks to him and says, "You're my Mariah Carey," a compliment that David holds to the highest regard, and rightfully so! Mariah is easily a fav of both Dan and his character David, which made her secret cameo in the cast Zoom reunion one to remember!

1 Wise Words From Moira

While Moira was certainly vain at times, she always had some of the best advice to give out! Considering she was a movie star, Moira has dealt with the brunt of Hollywood, and of course, the gossip. During a visit to the café, Moira dropped some serious advice on Alexis, saying: “Gossip is the devil's telephone. Best to just hang up!” Not only was this relevant to the scene, but boy is it ever relevant to anyone who needs to hear it!
