Fans can't help but notice that the captions and images posted to her social media channels are riddled with inaccuracies. They are also completely void of the personality that Britney Spears had always so eagerly expressed in front of the cameras during her earlier days of fame.
Vanity Fair reveals the general consensus among fans is that the real Britney Spears is not in control of her own social media and that someone else is posting on her behalf and controlling every aspect of her online experiences. There are just too many troubling signs to ignore.

Most viewers can admit that a quick scroll through Britney's social media captions reveals commentary written by a male. The words that are written are compiled a manner that is drastically different than the expressive, intimate, personal manner that Britney is known to convey. The initial feeling people have when reading her posts is that the messages have been written with a man, and the number of fans that have indicated this are far too many to ignore.
9 She Seems To Be Reading From A Teleprompter
Britney Spears never appears live, and there are very few videos on her Instagram account that reveal her voice. The odd time that she does speak, she appears to be very nervous and her eyes keep darting to the side as if she is obtaining cues for her "speech" from another piece of paper or a teleprompter. Her voice is almost baby-like and is very high pitched, which makes her sound nervous and makes the messaging seem very forced.
8 She Looks Like She's On Some Meds
It's impossible to ignore the fact that Britney Spears can barely stand still in any of her videos. In fact, it looks like she's on meds; prescription or otherwise. Many fans have speculated that Britney has been forced to be under the influence and are pointing to the shape and appearance of her eyes along with her very nervous stance and constant fidgeting.
She keeps twirling, moving awkwardly, and generally appears to be jittery in every post she appears in.
7 Those Words Just Aren't Girlie
In spite of the fact that nobody can actually lay claims to having seen Britney in person in quite some time, she has spent more of her life in front of the cameras than she has off-air. She grew up in the spotlight and regularly gave interviews and engaged her fans. People haven't forgotten Britney's linguistic habits, and they're just not seeing them reflected online.
The words being used are not the typical, girlie ones that reflect Britney's personality. Fans can't imagine Britney saying half of the things out loud that currently appear on posters and ads all over the world.
6 Her Favorite Color... Changed?
Whomever is posting on behalf of Britney seems to have forgotten that she has a longstanding history of interviews which have revealed personal details about the star that fans have not forgotten. Her loyal followers already know she has declared her favorite color as being pale pink, and they recollect that pale blue was added as a favorite in a few interviews as well.
Britney has never declared "yellow" as being her favorite color, until a random post on her Instagram page put the focus on that new update, and fans aren't buying it.
5 It's Lacking Personal Expression
Britney's personality shone through every time she took the stage, walked a red carpet, or appeared for an interview. There were some characteristics of her personality that were just undeniably belonged exclusively to her.
Somehow, none of these shine through on social media. Her posts lack personal expression and are missing critical elements that would seem natural for Britney to post.
The pandemic has meant many celebrities are posting more personal messages online and fans are getting to know more about what their lives are like at home. Britney disconnects from all personal messaging and isn't giving fans insight to her home, hobbies, or past times the way other celebrities are.
4 Fan Concerns Are Never Addressed
Britney Spears' Instagram reveals that fans have been genuinely concerned about Britney, yet she has never once addressed this in any way. There have been questions posted asking about the state of her mental health, asking her if she is ok, and begging her to go live on social media so fans can see for themselves that she is truly not being controlled by anyone else.
Sadly, these concerns are never addressed. In fact a few videos start with Britney saying "I know you guys have asked a lot of questions so I'll try to answer all of them.." and the proceed to declare strange facts that nobody at all has inquired about. This seems dodgy and leaves fans feeling unsettled.
3 Nobody Wears The Same Clothes This Much
Sure, we all wear the same clothes a few more times than we should, but most women would agree that they wouldn't post a photograph of themselves in the same shirt or outfit in excess of 30 times on social media. This just isn't a normal thing for a girl to do.
Britney's repetitive outfits suggest she has no say about what gets posted or when. If she had a say in the matter, she surely would have a larger wardrobe to display than the handful of similarly designed crop tops fans have seen so often.

There are very few images of her children, no posts that show diversity or give insight to her hobbies or how she is spending her time, and everything seems to lack the connection that used to shine through in everything she did. Fans firmly believe the lack of connectivity to human emotion is one of the most concerning aspects of Britney Spear's posts. There seem to be no actual displays of emotion and it seems everything she says is read off cue cards. It seems rehearsed and forced, and fans miss the old Britney.

Britney Spears has never been cryptic or afraid to speak her mind. That is, not until someone stepped in and started to manipulate her social media outlets. She's always been direct and lighthearted in her interviews, but suddenly, Britney Spears' online messaging contains wayward wording, incorrect grammar, and a whole lot of confusion.
Her posts are almost always cryptic and one-dimensional. So many hints are made to things such as "the rose project" and "red," and they span over a multitude of messages that have strung fans along and taken them on a nauseating ride.
If Britney Spears was managing her own social media channel, most fans believe she'd be more direct and far more convincing than her social media posts suggest.
