15 Epic Times Wendy's Twitter Account Was Savage AF

With 2016 being one of the most hateful years of this generation, we needed a hero to come forward and show us how to deal with all the haters out there. Whoever runs the official Twitter account for fast food eatery Wendy's, decided to be that hero, and has been providing us with savage tweet after savage tweet every day this year, putting down every doubter of Wendy's brilliance and brightening our days with some absolute hilarity. If you want your 2017 to be a great year, the first thing you have to do is follow Wendys.

15 The Wendy's mixtape is gonna be FIRE!

via: Twitter.com

Seemingly everyone is dropping a new mixtape that they hope will be pure fire these days, and even though they're a restaurant, Wendy's is no different. Unlike most modern rappers though, Wendy's lyrics are... actually pretty amazing. Throw in a few random animal noises and some heavy bass, and this line would fit perfectly alongside all the other rap songs on the radio right now. And this isn't even the only time Wendy's has spit out some fresh bars this year. The social media genius behind the account has pretty much provided fans with a rap every time she's been asked to, and that's been essentially every day this month. If rhyme skills matter to you in a fast food restaurant, all the other chains are more square than Wendy's hamburgers in comparison.

14 This wouldn't even be fair

via: Twitter.com

You can't have any sort of success or skill in today's society without someone resenting you or trying to challenge you, so when Wendy's started proving their crazy rap skills, all the haters tried claiming they could beat the eatery in a rap battle. One hater tried claiming McDonald's would make for a formidable opponent and wanted to make a rap battle happen, but Wendy's shut that nonsense down right away. It's not a battle if it's one-sided, and Wendy's is confident that McDonald's wouldn't even be able to light a candle to their pure FIRE. As entertaining as it would be to see the Ronald McDonald and Wendy rap battle of the redheads, we can't imagine that old clown could spit out anything as fresh as his younger, never-frozen adversary.

13 Sass invites more savage sass

via: Twitter.com

Whoever this Mikey person is, he clearly doesn't understand the point of the Wendy's twitter account and all it is trying to represent. Mikey seems to be under the impression that Wendy's should ignore their haters... but Wendy's has earned millions of followers just in the last month for how brutally they've been roasting anyone who tries to come at them. So when Wendy's social media guy saw this tweet likening him to a 12-year-old, he ran with it and met Mikey's sass with more brutal, sarcastic sass of his own. He may be a middle schooler, but he's a middle schooler who is perfectly balancing a job with his course load, so who cares? Next time you try shaming someone, Mikey, you should make sure they're even capable of being shamed. Wendy's doesn't give a crap about your opinion.

12 Be careful what you wish for

via: Twitter.com

Luis Sanchez really wanted to be one of the cool kids being made fun of by Wendy's twitter account, but he probably wasn't ready for the savagery that was to follow his request. All Wendy's had to do was quickly look at his account, see how embarrassingly unpopular he was, and they had enough ammo to take Luis down. It apparently was too much for him to handle, because he then immediately deleted his post, followed Burger King's account, and tweeted that "whopper > all." If you can't handle the heat, stay out of the kitchen! He should also send Wendy's a thank you for their brutal roast, because he's more than doubled his number of followers since being publicly shamed.

11 The true death of Harambe

via: Twitter.com

Harambe jokes and memes were pretty much everywhere you looked on the internet last year, but Wendy's has confirmed what we've all secretly hoped for months—Harambe jokes are now more dead than the dearly departed gorilla himself. One Twitter follower wanted to see if he could get Wendy's to hook him up with a fresh Harambe meme, but Wendy's is all about serving relevant realness and Harambe is too 2016. Thanks be to Wendy's for killing off that meme the same way those zookeepers killed off an innocent animal who just wanted to play with the little boy who fell into his enclosure. See, it's too hard to stop making Harambe jokes! Teach us how to move on, Wendy's Twitter manager. You're our only hope.

10 Serving up some Hilary-style realness

via: Twitter.com

One of the absolute best moments of last year's presidential race between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton was when Trump complained yet again about his mortal enemy on Twitter, and Hilary responded with the most short and savage tweet ever. "Delete your account." In just three words, she completely burned and shut down her opponent, and even though Trump won the presidency, that tweet won Hilary a place in our hearts forever. When this Sophie creature tried dissing Wendy's insanely delicious nuggets and burgers, Wendy's shot her down Hilary-style with a savage "delete your account" response of their own. Over four thousand people agreed with the short and brutal comeback, so Sophie should probably just give in and get rid of her Twitter. Her opinions are clearly too stupid to be posted, so Wendy's is just trying to save her some embarrassment.

9 Wendy's versus McDonald's

via: Twitter.com

David and Goliath, Hilary and Trump, UCLA and USC, Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie... some rivalries are known worldwide and have earned their place in the history books, never to be forgotten. The rivalry between Wendy's and their burger-serving fast food eatery peers may have eclipsed all other feuds this year, and Wendy's wants you to know that if you're not on their side, they're taking you down. Whenever a Twitter follower asks @Wendys for directions to the nearest McDonald's or Burger King, they receive a picture of a trash can in response. When this follower asked for the cost of a Big Mac, Wendy's explained that it's their dignity. That's what you get for repping other chains on Wendy's home turf!

8 Wendy's versus Burger King

via: Twitter.com

The Wendy's twitter definitely receives the most harassment from McDonald's fans, but every once in a while, a Burger King fan comes forward and tries throwing some shade. Wendy's is ready for attacks from every direction though, and had a perfect response ready when a BK fan tried saying his favorite eatery was the winner. In a competition between Wendy's and any other fast food joint, everyone else is just competing to see who will get in second place, and the only trophy Burger King can hope for is a participation trophy. Kings are great, but everyone knows the most important piece in chess is the queen, and Wendy is definitely the Queen of 2017.

7 Nice try, BK. But you can't outsavage Wendy's

via: Twitter.com

When Wendy's came up with their amazing 4 for $4 deal, every one of their competitors immediately rushed to put out a similar deal of their own. McDonald's has a 2 for $2.50, Checkers put out a 4 for $3 meal deal, and Burger King thought they were hot stuff when they came up with a 5 for $4 deal, "because 5 is better than 4." One follower pointed out BK's less-than-subtle shot at Wendy's to the account and asked for a response, and Wendy's gave the perfect savage counter, as always. Yeah, Burger King is giving diners an extra item with their meal, but Wendy's can offer you something BK can't: edible food. What a burn!

6 Maybe double-check your grammar next time, too

via: Twitter.com

It's one thing to have a completely wrong opinion, but when you state it with improper grammar, you look like a total idiot. This uneducated hater claimed that Wendy's food is trash, using the wrong "your" to boot. Wendy's let him go on the grammar blunder in their response, and merely informed the Twitter troll that he's wrong and that his opinion is more trash than their food. Short, simple, and savage. That's the sort of quiet, amusing brutality that we all wish we could come up with when confronted with a hater. Forget all the celebrities and professional athletes out there, we've found a role model we should actually aspire to be like.

5 At least they're honest

via: Twitter.com

Taco Bell has been making headlines lately for being "the healthiest fast food restaurant in the country," and while Wendy's is always down to insult their fast food peers on Twitter and assert their dominance as the best chain in the country, they've never claimed to be healthier than the competition. One follower tried coming at them by pointing out the concerning calorie count in their french fries, and Wendy's pretty much just shrugged the comment off. Cheesy fries are fried potato covered in cheese, if you're expecting healthy foods, going to a fast food joint and ordering that of all things probably isn't the smartest move. It looks like you embarrassed yourself more than Wendy's with this tweet, James.

4 Real clever, @WendysSucks...

via: Twitter.com

Some people have lives, and other people get on Twitter, make a new account specifically to insult a multi-billion dollar restaurant chain with millions of followers, and waste all their time trolling that chain. This guy clearly fit into the latter category, and instead of spending the surplus of time he has from not having a life to think of an actually witty insult to throw Wendy's way, all he came up with was "are your burgers even beef?" and "are your fries even potatoes?" Wendy's savagely pointed out how totally pathetic this was before answering that yes, their beef products are made of beef and their potato products are made from potatoes. The troll has probably spent the last week trying to think of a witty response of his own, but we shouldn't be expecting much from him.

3 Serving never-frozen beef and sass, 24/7

via: Twitter.com

Phil, has no one ever told you that you should think before you tweet? He thought that Wendy's made a mistake with their "our beef is too cool to ever be frozen" ad campaign, because if the beef is cool, it is cold enough to be frozen. If Phil thought about it for another second, he probably would have realized that Wendy's was using the common "fashionably attractive or impressive" definition of the word "cool," and that they were making an intentional play on words. But he didn't think about it, so Wendy's came at him hard with some sarcastic and savage sass by introducing him "to the colloquial usage" of the word. Hopefully Phil has learned his lesson.

2 There is such a thing as a wrong opinion

via: Twitter.com

There are always signs that can tell you whether or not you and your significant other and meant to be together. Does she go through your texts all the time? Does he come home at weird hours of the night smelling like another woman's perfume? Worst of all, does she... prefer McDonald's over Wendy's?! That's one warning sign that you definitely can't ignore. So when Gamer Kid said that his girlfriend has this wrong opinion, the Wendy's social media mogul savagely told him that it's time for him to reconsider his relationship and that Wendy's wants to "have a serious talk" with him about his future. You don't want to be on the Wendy's Twitter account's bad side, so you should probably listen to its advice, Gamer Kid.

1 Wendy has needs, Mason. You don't fill them

via: Twitter.com

Wendy is a sassy, pigtail-loving redhead with needs. Justin Bieber and Harry Styles are famous musicians with full wallets and cute faces, so they fill some of Wendy's needs. Unfortunately for Mason, a shirtless admirer of the restaurant chain, he's not quite on the same level as JB or the former One Direction star. Mason got all upset when he realized @Wendys is following the popstars but not him, and all the object of his affections responded with was a picture of sassy Marshall from How I Met Your Mother saying "Oh, honey." Sometimes, all you need is the right meme to absolutely slay haters and desperate admirers online, and this was another brilliantly short yet savage response from the best social media account on the internet.
