15 Hilarious Snapchat Fails That Will Make A Bad Day Better

Before the internet was around, it was a whole lot easier to get through life without having every blunder and awkward moment captured on camera for the rest of the world to see. However, such luxury no longer exists. These days, if someone is having a bad day, it will likely be documented on Snapchat, for everyone to relish in their misfortune. Sometimes, strangers may capture other people’s unfortunate incidents and poor choices on Snapchat to share with their friends. But, other times, sharing their own despair with the rest of the world may make someone feel better. No one is safe when it comes to Snapchat, as these 15 snaps prove.

15. When your food order is an utter fail

Via: reddit.com

There’s nothing worse than ordering a meal, only to have it prepared the wrong way. This particularly rings true if you are starving and only realize that your food order was made wrong after you get home. What kind of a savage thinks that anyone would go to McDonald’s for a bare bun with ketchup? Everyone knows you go to the popular fast food chain for your choice of meat and fries (we definitely cannot forget about those fries). We are not sure who is working there these days, but it is clearly someone who takes things very literally. If someone placed an order like this with us, it’s safe to assume we would know that the person only wanted ketchup (and not the other toppings) on top of the meat patty. Needless to say, that looks like one sad burger bun and there’s no doubt the person who ordered it was equally as sad.

14. The winner for the worst day at work award goes to…

Via: reddit.com

There may be no use crying over spilled milk, but there is definitely a reason to cry over so many spilled eggs. There are many things we want to ask when we look at this image, but mainly, how on earth does one manage to drop so many eggs? Also, how on earth do you plan on cleaning that and how do you plan on explaining that to your boss? We could surely understand one carton of eggs breaking, but this many? It just does not make any sense. Nevertheless, these two gentlemen are certainly having a worse day at work than you. First of all, they are working with eggs all day long, which doesn’t seem so riveting, to begin with. Then, on top of that, they now have to devote an entire day cleaning it. We don’t know about you guys, but so many eggs around us would probably make us gag.

13. When you catch the wrath from grandma

Via: reddit.com

Grandmas are all sweet and dandy, until you cross them. Then, we would advise that you run as fast as you can before you catch a whiff of their scolding. Unfortunately, this pelican did not get the memo and got stuck in the crossfire of grandma’s rage, after he innocently bit her. As far as we know, the pelican was just trying to get granny’s attention with a little nibble, but he apparently rubbed her the wrong way. So, what do you do when a wild animal attacks you? Scold it, of course. Whatever grandma is saying to the pelican seems to be working, as he hangs his head in shame. Grandma is probably breaking it down for him and letting him know that misbehaved pelicans don’t get anywhere in life. So, if there’s anything we can all take away from this, it’s that one should always have manners and and that grandma is a force to be reckoned with.

12. Someone’s getting fired

Via: reddit.com

The driver of this hearse already has a hard enough time at his job, having to drive dead bodies around all day long, but this incident probably just made it that much worse. It’s likely that when you drive a hearse, your top priority is to ensure that the body stays inside the coffin, while also preferably staying inside the hearse. So, something like this would be a major fail. Just look at the driver cautiously walking behind the car to see the damage, with an expression of “oops” written all over his face. Poor guy just wanted to do his job right today and next thing you know, he’s braking too hard and a coffin goes flying out the back of his car. If it’s any consolation to him, it could have been much worse. At least it was just the coffin that slid out and nothing more.

11. When you can’t always predict the future

Via: reddit.com

When you claim to be a psychic, individuals assume that you will know the answer to everything, but apparently, that’s just not the case. Just check out this psychic who was probably in for a surprise when her sign came crashing down onto her car. Now, we’re not saying she messed with the cosmos somehow and that’s why this happened, but it is possible (if you believe in that sort of thing, that is). We also have to give props to this observant bystander who nailed this “fail” on Snapchat. The truth is that whether psychics are real or not, this particular psychic likely does not have a foreseeing eye. On the other hand, though, maybe she did see this coming and knew that the insurance money would be worth it to let things take their course. Maybe this psychic is legitimate, after all.

10. When you are having one of “those” days

Via: reddit.com

There are some days when you are totally on the ball, but then there are days like this when you have no idea what’s going on. Chances are, Mama Sue had plenty on her mind when she attempted to charge her phone, only to plug in her earphones into the phone instead of a charger. It’s happened to the best of us (not really, Sue, but we feel for you). There’s nothing more annoying than thinking that your phone is charging, only to leave the house and realize that your phone battery is only at one percent. Who is this child of hers that decided to document the mistake, instead of plugging his mother’s phone in? Perhaps, instead of Snapchatting this fail, he should fix it for his mom. Come on, child, get it together; your mom’s probably too busy looking after you kids to pay attention to something as menial as her phone charger.

9. The worst kind of photobomber

Via: reddit.com

It’s bad enough that this creepy-looking bird decided to photobomb this guy’s photo, but to take a bite of his ice cream on top of that? Well, that’s just out of line. It seems that seagulls truly have no etiquette and are possibly one of the more glutton species. Have you ever seen them circling a beach or a park? They can be quite savage when it comes to getting a bite to eat (we suppose that’s much like us when we are hungry, so who are we to judge?). We have to hand it to the seagull for his timing and bravery, though. What a devious bird he is to have waited until the guy was distracted by his phone to notice him swooping in. This seagull will undoubtedly get far in life.

8. When you struggle between doing the right thing and taking a photo

Via: reddit.com

One of the dilemmas that we face in this day and age is whether or not to offer our help when someone needs it or to take a photo of them, instead. It’s quite the conundrum because good photo opportunities like this one do not come around every day, but it also poses a bit of a moral dilemma if you just choose to look on, instead of saying something. So, what do you do? May we suggest quickly taking the photo and then letting the man know that the dog he thinks he is walking is actually swimming? Now, while it may seem like the man walking his dog is having a bad day by not recognizing his blunder, the real victim here is the dog. The poor pooch probably just wanted to go for a casual stroll by the pier and not swim a marathon. The real MVP of this Snapchat is the dog, hands down.

7. Who wore it better?

Via: reddit.com

There is just something so cringeworthy about showing up somewhere and being dressed like someone else. So, we try to avoid it at all costs. If we come to a party and someone is wearing the same dress as us, then we would send them home. Or, if we turn up to class and another chick is rocking our outfit, we naturally feign sickness and take the day off. So, when this girl decided to go to the bathroom to check out her cute outfit in the mirror, she was in for a rude awakening. As it turns out, she had been taking styling cues from her school washroom. Now, if that’s not a bit of a fail, we don’t know what is. So, what do you do when your outfit looks like the tiles in a bathroom? Of course, you take a photo on Snapchat and share it with all of your friends. Now, we just have only one question: who wore it better?

6. When you can’t contain your dirty laundry

Via: reddit.com

This snap is the perfect example of one airing their dirty laundry to their neighbors by revealing that they can’t do laundry (pun totally intended). It’s bad enough making a mistake when doing the laundry, but it’s arguably worst when your neighbors also learn that you are not particularly equipped to wash your clothes. While most of us have been in a similar situation at one point when we added a little too much soap to clean our smelly gym clothes, apparently this person went overboard. Surely, nothing could smell so terrible that it would require a whole bottle of Tide. If this person did want to turn this into a positive, though, they really should just have a foam party on their lawn. At least everyone will get out of doing their laundry that day.

5. When your miscalculations are caught on camera

Via: reddit.com

Let’s face it—parenting is a tough gig and it becomes even harder when your missteps are caught on camera. Take, for example, this dad who just wanted to have some fun with his daughter at the jungle gym, but lost her midway through their adventure together. How was he supposed to know that his little princess would go flying off his shoulders the minute he swung himself off that ledge? It could happen to anyone…except for mom. Mom somehow always has a way of foreseeing how things like this would end. Nevertheless, dad gave it a good effort and in his defense, the foam landing was probably quite enjoyable for his little girl. We are sure that she came out of it unscathed. As for the dad, by the look on his face, he may not be itching to get back into the playpen anytime soon.

4. When Snapchat reveals the flaws in the education system

Via: reddit.com

How are students supposed to learn anything from educators who struggle with spelling themselves? Granted, this could have been an honest mistake, but surely someone should have noticed it before it was plastered in not one, but two places surrounding the microwave? It is also a bit alarming that they even need to warn people not to put metal in the microwave…isn’t that common sense? Seriously, what are they teaching at this school? Unfortunately for them, now that there is Snapchat, so mistakes like this will never fly by unnoticed by students looking for their next picture opportunity. There is just something so sweet for students when they catch their authority figures making mistakes. So lesson learned: don’t put medals or metal or metal medals in the microwave and always proofread your signs.

3. Distracted driving at its best

Via: reddit.com

We can sympathize with this individual who became a distracted driver, after a bee made an appearance in her car. There is nothing more terrifying than driving with closed windows and hearing a bee buzzing somewhere around your head. We take that back. A spider dropping down on your head may be arguably worse than a bee, but either way, these unwelcome visitors would not be getting a positive reaction out of us. Naturally, anyone’s reaction would be to throw their hands up in the air and give up on life, until the insect is out of their car. While it may be considered reckless to take your hands off the steering wheel to swat away a bee, we’re pretty sure if she got pulled over, the court of law would totally be on her side. It’s a shame that taco was a casualty, though.

2. Lost in translation

Via: reddit.com

We have all had one of those days where we absentmindedly go about our business and sometimes do things on autopilot, without even realizing what we have done. You know what we mean, right? Like when you are driving home from somewhere and then all of a sudden, you are home and you are not sure how you even got there. Or, when you are reading a book and just re-read the same line over and over again, until you suddenly get out of your daze and realize what you’ve been doing. It happens to the best of us; so, we understand how this janitor ended up putting a bar of soap into a liquid soap dispenser. Perhaps he was deep in thought and decided that any old soap would do, whether liquid or not. Or, maybe he just could not locate the liquid soap so opted for the next best thing.

1. A cooking faux pas

Via: reddit.com

Let’s face it—when you do not know how to cook, it can be an entirely complicated process. Sometimes, it’s difficult to get the flavors or the consistency the way that the recipe dictates, if you don’t know what you are doing. Other times, you even have a hard time boiling things, so much so that you cause an explosion, like this individual did. We are not certain what this person was cooking or why it exploded so that the pot lid became lodged in the ceiling, but we must say that it’s pretty impressive. It must have truly been a one of a kind recipe to create such a disaster in the kitchen. Perhaps this person just combined the wrong things and then wasn’t watching the pot, or maybe they just bought a faulty pot, in the first place? Either way, this individual’s landlord is thanking their lucky stars they got a security deposit.
