This may be a hard pill to swallow, but some of the adorable superheroes we have watched over the last few years aren’t really heroes. In fact, some of them are straight-up jerks and are known to be total divas to work with.
Most of the time, when an actor or actress makes working with them stressful, they get the boot and are replaced, but there are some A-listers who people cater to and allow to be jerks to those around them so they stay and boost the movie or show more.
Not all of them are big jerks though, there are some that are total sweethearts. They make working on set a breeze and everyone loves them.

20 Bully: Terrence Howard (Colonel James Rhodes)
Before we had Don Cheadle as the role of Colonel James Rhodes in the Iron Man series, we had Terrance Howard.
According to thetalko.com though, Terrance was a bit obnoxious, didn't treat women too kindly, and when he was given a pay cut in the second film, he bailed and then took it out on Robert Downey Jr. for not sticking up for him.

Everyone was super ecstatic when A-list actor Josh Brolin joined the cast of Avengers as Thanos.
Apparently though, according to thetalko.com, he is a completely different person when the cameras aren’t rolling. In fact, he is actually a huge jerk to work with and doesn’t treat women very well like Terrance Howard, making it hard to work with him.

Gwyneth Paltrow has a long history of feuds with other actors.

Vin Diesel is another actor who has a long history of feuds with other actors.
According to thetalko.com, Vin has also been known to be a bit of a creep towards women during interviews. For example, during an interview with YouTuber Carol Moreira, Vin was constantly asking her out, calling her beautiful, and telling her how he couldn’t concentrate because of how hot she was.

Jeremy is not a hated guy. He is actually loved by many people, but there are times where he can get disrespectful.

One of the biggest reasons we don’t see Edward Norton anymore is because of his horrible reputation when it comes to working with others and how much of a diva he is on set.

According to cbr.com, Mickey has a history of being a jerk to work with. In fact, his part in Iron Man 2 was significantly reduced because of his attitude and his need to improvise and change things during filming.

Tommy Lee Jones is such an amazing actor due to his charismatic screen presence.
According to cbr.com though, he is known to be a diva and could care less about other’s feelings, or their safety. In fact, while filming Batman Forever, he verbally threatened Jim Carrey and Barry Sonnenfeld used the plot of Men in Black 3, so he didn’t have to work with him as much.
9 Bully: Idris Elba (Heimdall)
This one is a mix entry. See, Idris Elba is not only an amazing actor but also a great guy to work with, that is unless it’s for an MCU film.
According to cbr.com, when Idris first started playing Heimdall for the Thor movies, he was thrilled, but his excitement dwindled quickly and he started to complain about his costume, the script, and how he was being disrespected.
8 Bully: Anthony Hopkins (Odin)
Anthony Hopkins is an absolute legend who has been wowing fans for over fifty years with his amazing performances.
According to cbr.com though, off set he is known to be a bit distant and aloof with his costars. In fact, he has admitted during interviews that he has difficulty connecting with others and has a great disdain for actors and the acting business.
7 Bully: Stellan Skarsgard (Erik Selvig)
Stellan Skarsgard is one of the most famous actors in the world today, yet not many like to work with him due to his on-set pranks his wild antics, and his dramatic flair to frighten his costars.
In fact, according to cbr.com, Stellan talked Paul Bettany into taking a part in the film Dogville, an experience that Paul would later admit was “disgusting” and he even compared it to being tortured.

Over the years, Andy Serkis has done quite a few interviews where he gives himself all the credit for the rise in mo-cap technology.
According to cbr.com, this arrogance has landed him quite a few enemies in the graphic design business. In fact, quite a few animators have made claims that he belittles their profession.

Anthony Mackie is one actor who has a spotless reputation.
