15 Nickelodeon Kids Who Glowed Up

Nickelodeon is a well-known brand that targets a young audience, and the TV shows which come on this channel have been providing entertainment for years and years. Some of the most popular television series from Nickelodeon and from over the years have included animated works such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Doug and Rugrats, as well as stories starring real people, like iCarly, The Amanda Show and Zoey 101.

And speaking of these real people… Who has seen them recently? Who would recognize them today? And who else agrees that some of them have truly glowed up? Well, that is the focus of this list! There are 15 Nickelodeon stars who are listed out down below. Some of them were heavily featured on their TV shows, while others were supporting characters. No matter their roles in these series, though, they all have one thing in common: They are all “glown” up!

15 Josh Peck

Josh Peck used to be on The Amanda Show, but his most notable role was on Drake & Josh. This Nickelodeon show ran from 2004 to 2007, and it even had two TV movies, too. Over the years, Peck has continued to act, and he even returned to Nickelodeon as the voice of Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from 2012 to 2017.

14 Miranda Cosgrove

Also on Drake & Josh was Miranda Cosgrove, who played the annoying little sister, Megan Parker. Cosgrove went on to get her own show, as she also starred in iCarly. Off of Nickelodeon, she was in the movie School of Rock, she makes music, and she was the voice of Margo in the Despicable Me films.

13 Vanessa Baden

Back in the day, this Nickelodeon star was on My Brother and Me, Gullah Gullah Island, Kenan & Kel and Figure It Out. She is probably best known for being Kyra Rockmore on Kenan & Kel, but now, Vanessa Baden - an actress, writer, director and producer - is all grown up!

12 Malese Jow

Malese Jow was on The Brothers Garcia as Celeste, Unfabulous as Geena Fabiano, iCarly as Fake Carly Shay and Big Time Rush as Lucy Stone. Other things that this star has appeared in include the The Vampire Diaries, Bratz: The Movie and The Social Network.

11 Jennette McCurdy

Jennette McCurdy is best known for being Sam on iCarly and the spin-off show Sam & Cat, but she has also been in Victorious, Zoey 101 and True Jackson VP, as well as produced, written and starred in a series called What's Next for Sarah? Now, she, too, is all grown up.

10 Larisa Oleynik

Larisa Oleynik became a teen idol who was in movies such as The Baby-Sitters Club and 10 Things I Hate About You. Oh, and she was also the lead character in Nickelodeon’s The Secret World of Alex Mack from 1994 to 1998! She is still acting, as she has been in popular shows like Pretty Little Liars and Mad Men.

9 Devon Werkheiser

Devon Werkheiser acts and makes music, and one of his most memorable roles was as the title character in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He was also in a TV movie on Nickelodeon that was called Shredderman Rules, and he went on to appear in works such as the TV series Greek.

8 Christian Serratos

Christian Serratos was also in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide back in the day, as Suzie Crabgrass, but she has and has had roles that are and were much bigger than that: She was Angela Weber in the Twilight movies, and she is Rosita Espinosa in The Walking Dead!

7 Rob Pinkston

Rob Pinkston has been in movies, music videos and shows such as Bones and Punk'd. When it comes to Nickelodeon, though, this guy is better known as Coconut Head from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. How many people recognized him from those days? Probably not many, since he is another glow up!

6 Daniella Monet

Over the years, Daniella Monet has been on several Nickelodeon shows… She was Trina Vega on Victorious. She was Rebecca Martin on Zoey 101. She was Bertha on Fred: The Show. And she appeared on similar series, such as iCarly and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

5 Keke Palmer

As an actress, singer and television personality, Keke Palmer was in films like Barbershop 2: Back in Business, Akeelah and the Bee, Madea's Family Reunion and Ice Age: Continental Drift. But for Nickelodeon fans, she may always be True Jackson. She was also in Scream Queens, though, which brings up this next star...

4 Emma Roberts

Yes, Emma Roberts was in Scream Queens, as well as numerous films such as Aquamarine, Nancy Drew, Hotel for Dogs, Valentine's Day, Scream 4 and We're the Millers. She got her start on Nickelodeon, though, as she was cast as Addie Singer in the show Unfabulous, which ran from 2004 to 2007.

3 Sean Flynn

Sean Flynn's first role was in 1996, on the show Sliders. His latest role was in 2015, in a TV short called What Did Zoey Say? And his most notable role, of course, was as Chase Matthews on Zoey 101 from 2005 to 2008. Now, though, he is all grown up!

2 Paul Butcher

Up next is Paul Butcher, a singer and actor who has been on shows such as The King of Queens, Without a Trace, American Dad and Criminal Minds. Oh, and he was also on Zoey 101: This is the guy that played Zoey’s little brother, Dustin Brooks!

1 Jamie Lynn Spears

Last but not least is Britney Spears’ little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears. She got pregnant when she was 16, she started a country music career, and she was another big Nickelodeon star. Yes, Spears was the star of Zoey 101, as she portrayed Zoey Brooks from 2005 to 2008.
