Twitter smiled and awed at 50 Cent's recent post with his seven-year-old son. In it, 50 Cent’s youngest boy, Sire Jackson, looks mischievous and up to no good, as his daddy is smiling, kind of knowing exactly what the little one is up to. The caption reads: “he said i got a idea let’s go spend your money. I said where did you get that from your mom. LOL #HHHS.”

The rapper shares the child with his former girlfriend, Daphne Joy, a model and actress most known for her role as a mermaid in The Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The couple had been together for three years and had their son in 2012 (the hip-hop star also has a son, Marquise Jackson, with actress Shaniqua Tompkins). But back in 2013, 50 Cent and Joy’s relationship made quite scandalous headlines. The rapper actually faced serious charges for domestic violence and vandalism.
According to Yahoo News, 50 Cent allegedly broke into Joy’s house in Toluca Lake, California. He was repeatedly kicking his former partner and damaged her property. The damages caused to the property were estimated at over $7,000.
At the time, it looked like his celebrity status would save him from doing time in jail. In fact, city attorney Mike Feuer concluded: "Regardless of perceived celebrity or notoriety, domestic violence is a serious crime and alleged perpetrators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law by this office." And said: "We will continue to look out for the safety of all victims of domestic violence and seek justice for the alleged crimes."
However, eventually, the hip-hop star entered a plea bargain with prosecutors over the domestic violence case and did avoid jail sentence after all.

It is quite clear that in his post, 50 Cent is not being passively aggressive, but rather, he kindly teases his baby mama, showing that although their love might be long gone, there is still a lot to remember and laugh about.
Today, the two live separate lives but work together as parents. Despite a good share of upheavals, 50 Cent and Joy have managed to turn their famously turbulent relationship around and put mutual effort into raising Sire.
