LeBron James has become one of the biggest stars in the history of the NBA. With all of his accomplishments, it is perfectly natural for LeBron to have his fair share of supporters and detractors. There are some people in professional sports who have a great deal of respect and admiration for LeBron, and everything he has accomplished on the court and the social issues he stands up for off the court.

On the other hand, there are certainly several people who hold less than friendly feelings towards LeBron.

16 Hate: David Blatt

David Blatt had been the coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers for only a couple of weeks when LeBron decided to rejoin the team. Blatt was nearly immediately doomed, as LeBron and Blatt had several public disagreements. Blatt, who took the job thinking he would be working with a young team, was fired a little over a year after being hired so LeBron's preference, Tyronn Lue, could become coach.

Count Tiger Woods as a major fan of LeBron James. In 2018, Tiger Woods was asked to define what it means to dominate a sport for so long. Woods chose to refer to LeBron James, and marveled at LeBron's ability to be one of the top stars in the NBA for over a decade.

Stephen Curry has arguably been the face of the NBA over the past couple of years, just as LeBron was arguably the face of the NBA in the late-2000s. It doesn't seem LeBron wants to give up the face of the NBA throne to Curry, as LeBron openly questioned the legitimacy of Curry's back-to-back MVP Awards.

Anthony Davis has seemingly become very close friends with LeBron James. Throughout much of the 2018/2019 NBA season, it was known that Davis wanted to be traded, and preferably to the L.A. Lakers so he could join his friend LeBron James. The trade to the Lakers was finally completed in July 2019, and it looks like the deal worked out really well for the Lakers so far!

12 Hate: Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley is known for being very outspoken and opinionated about all things basketball. One of his more controversial opinions is when he has repeatedly refused to include LeBron James in his list of Top 5 NBA players of all-time - or even Top 8. In Barkley's opinion, players such as Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan are still much better than LeBron.

In 2014, when Beckham Jr. made an impressive catch against the Dallas Cowboys, LeBron praised the play. Odell said that it meant a lot to him, since has long idolized and respected LeBron James.

Draymond Green and LeBron James to got see a lot of each other during the 4-year span where the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors met in the NBA Finals. A lot of sparks flew during those series, particularly because of Draymond Green's constant taunts and jabs at LeBron. In addition, Green made a point of being just a little bit more physical with LeBron than was necessary during games.

All of that changed when LeBron returned to Cleveland and started boasting about Dellavedova's abilities. That earned him a lot of respect around the league, which eventually landed Dellavedova an impressive $38.4 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard are two of the most talented NBA players right now. However, they both approach the game differently as LeBron wants the focus to be all on him and welcomes the media attention. Kawhi operates in privacy and does his best to avoid the spotlight. That is probably part of the reason why Kawhi opted to sign with L.A. Clippers in free agency, and team up with Paul George to try to take down the L.A. Lakers.

Donovan Mitchell is one of the cornerstones of the Utah Jazz, who have helped lead them to consecutive playoff spots. There seems to be a mutual respect and admiration between Donovan and LeBron James. Mitchell has frequently backed him up on the social issues LeBron speaks out about, while LeBron praises the way Mitchell conducts himself and the way he plays the game.

One of his more notable statements was his claim that, if LeBron and he were in the NBA at the same time during their prime, LeBron would not have ever won a championship. Pierce also has not been shy about voicing his displeasure for LeBron.

Last month, Tom Brady said he wants to keep playing until his late-40s. LeBron echoed those statements by saying they are both the same player and won't quit until they physically cannot play any longer.

At one point, Joakim Noah was the cornerstone of the Chicago Bulls which meant that his team went up against LeBron's Cleveland Cavaliers quite a bit. Noah and LeBron have had quite a rivalry on the court, with the two players getting into scuffles in addition to several verbal encounters.

One of those players is Carmelo Anthony, who he said he can count on to have his back outside of the NBA. This is interesting since LeBron and Carmelo have never yet been teammates in the NBA.
