Michael Jordan, while being one of the greatest NBA players of all time, is also easily one of the most divisive figures to ever touch the basketball court—or any global sports court. He was tremendously competitive and made a lot of enemies on the court and in the world. Through various business ventures, as well, Jordan has made many corporate enemies. However, there are of course those who are fond of MJ. While he is known to be competitive, he is known to be charismatic and a real people person.

As Kanye West once said,

Michael Jordan changed so much in basketball, he took his power to make a difference.

Here are 8 People That Dislike Michael Jordan And 7 That Love Him. As always, let us know in the comments what you think and if you think we missed anyone. There are obviously many people with many opinions on Jordan.

15 Dislike Him: Will Perdue

Similarly to Bill Cartwright, Will Perdue was a victim of Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls hazing techniques. MJ would constantly make Will run the same plays over and over and complain that he wasn't trying hard enough. Perdue was sick and tired of being pushed around, especially being several inches taller.

14 Love Him: Dennis Rodman

Rodman and Jordan were tight friends since they stepped on the hardwood floor together. While Jordan ran the Chicago Bulls show in the '90s, Rodman and Pippen were his trusty accomplices. Phil Jackson made damn sure they were good friends and always made them spend time off the court, acting as a true mastermind behind the friendship.

13 Dislike Him: Colin Cowherd

Colin Cowherd, the Fox Sports host, called Jordan "overrated" and "just a scorer." He constantly berates Jordan for behind an awful teammate and commends players like Bill Russell and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for being a real team-first guy. Cowherd runs the Herd over in Los Angeles.

12 Love Him: Drake

Drake has been a Michael Jordan fan since he was a kid. Jordan even said once, that he "was more of a Drake fan," when talking about musical artists he prefers. At the 2016 NBA celebrity basketball game, Drake and Jordan were seen together talking for awhile on the court. Drake respects greatness, as does Jordan.

11 Dislike Him: Stephen Marbury

Marbury has been vocal about his dislike for Michael Jordan. During the NBA lockout, he had this to say.

Michael Fake Jordan is a sell-out. #Period. He forgot which hole he came out of. I said it Stephon X Marbury... MJ went from MJ the black cat to a guy who forgot he was a player. Sell your team if you can't make a profit. Your just a regular dude now!

10 Love Him: Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan have been friends since they both rose to stardom. They are two of the greatest athletes of all time and clearly respect their joint greatness. They constantly golf together and can be seen at the most expensive golf courses around the world. He always says that Tiger is the greatest golfer of all time.

9 Dislike Him: Reggie Miller

In 1998, Jordan said this about his fight with Miller in a postgame interview.

It's like chicken-fighting with a woman. His game is all this flopping-type thing. He weighs only 185 pounds, so you have to be careful, don't touch him, or it's a foul.

Miller was offended by this comment and the two have had issues getting along ever since.

8 Love Him: Horace Grant

Horace Grant was a close friend and teammate of Jordan. While he wasn't the biggest name in the basketball world, he always went over to MJ's home for dinner and they played very effectively, in rhythm, when on the court together. They rarely ever argued on the hardwood, which is obviously very rare for teammates.

7 Dislike Him: Gary Payton

Payton and Jordan were always having scuffles on the court. Payton was an all-time defender and pissed Jordan off with his capabilities. Probably since Jordan was used to destroying everyone else on defense, he got annoyed when a shorter guy could really stick it to him on defense. On several occasions, they fought on the court and do not talk today.

6 Love Him: Ahmad Rashad

Ahmad Rashad and Jordan go way back. Rashad is a sportscaster and former NFL running back for the Buffalo Bills. Along with Tiger, he often golfs with Jordan and was recently seen at a huge charity event with the two. At his wedding last week, he was seen with Jordan and Tiger in a globally circulated picture.

5 Dislike Him: Patrick Ewing

Ewing and Jordan have long-feuded, even after leaving the NBA. Ewing was always bitter about the media attention Jordan received, while he was putting up legendary numbers in New York. After retirement, he has had issues with Jordan being arrogant, cocky, and just overall pretentious. The two have had a strained relationship for years.

4 Love Him: John Paxson

John Paxson, the former General Manager and Vice President of the Chicago Bulls, is a long-time buddy of Jordan's. They also played together in Chicago and could always rely on one another to connect on each other passes. Jordan and Paxson frequent hang out outside of basketball-related activities and are often seen at dinner, sometimes in Charlotte.

3 Dislike Him: Skip Bayless

Skip Bayless, certainly, likes to draw up media attention. But he has, on several occasions, said that Jordan was a self-involved and bad teammate. Jordan has never claimed to watch Skip after he heard that Skip was not a fan of his. Skip is more of a Magic Basketball and Kareem fan than he is of 90s Chicago Bulls stories.

2 Dislike Him: Steve Kerr

Steve Kerr, now the trusty leader of the Golden State Warriors, and former teammate of Michael Jordan, isn't all that close with him. He once had a huge scuffle with MJ in 1995 and smashed a whiteboard when it was brought up during the 2016 NBA Finals. He thought Jordan was disrespectful and never valued his contributions to Chicago.

1 Love Him: Stephen A. Smith

Stephen A. Smith has constantly called out LeBron for never comparing to LeBron James. He disavows people who compare the two and always affirms that Jordan is a once in a generation player. He thinks that Jordan has an unmatched intensity that LeBron has been unable to capture.
