Taylor Swift is undeniably one of the most successful recording artists of her generation. She has released nine studio albums and sold more than 200 million records worldwide. She has been nominated for over forty Grammy Awards, winning eleven, and she is the only female history in history to win the coveted Grammy Award for Album of the Year three times.

While Swift is best known as a solo artist who writes all of her own music, she has also collaborated with several other high-profile artists. For her own studio albums, she has recorded songs with the likes of Ed Sheeran, The Chicks, Bon Iver, and many more. On occasion, she has also leant her vocals to songs for other artists' albums. Here are eight times that Taylor Swift has been featured on songs by other artists.

8 "Two Is Better Than One" By Boys Like Girls

"Two Is Better Than One" was co-written by Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson and Taylor Swift. It was the second single for Boys Like Girls' album Love Drunk. It reached the top twenty on the Billboard charts in early 2010, making it the band's first top twenty single. While it was not as popular as some of Swift's biggest hits of 2009, like "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me," it did outsell some of Swift's major hits and it became her eleventh top twenty single.

7 "Half Of My Heart" By John Mayer

"Half of My Heart" was written by John Mayer and features vocals from Taylor Swift. It is one of Swift's very few collaborations in which she did not help out during the writing process. Mayer and Swift briefly dated after recording the song together, and following their breakup Mayer released a new version of the song without Swift. He received a Grammy Award nomination for his solo performance of the song. Taylor Swift would later go on to write the song "Dear John" about her tumultuous relationship with Mayer.

6 "Both Of Us" By B.o.B

"Both Of Us" was co-written by B.o.B, Swift, Ammar Malik, Henry Walter, and Lukasz Gottwald. It was the third single from Strange Clouds, B.o.B's second studio album. According to B.o.B, it was Swift's idea to collaborate with the rapper. While "Both Of Us" was Swift's first feature on a rap single, she had previously written and recorded the rap song "Thug Story" with T-Pain. That rap was created for the CMT Awards broadcast, and it was a parody of her hit song "Love Story."

5 "Highway Don't Care" By Tim McGraw, Featuring Keith Urban

"Highway Don't Care" is sung by Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift, and also features a lead guitar performance by Keith Urban. The collaboration was nominated for several major country music awards and was certified triple platinum. Taylor Swift was a big fan of both Tim McGraw and Keith Urban growing up. Her first single, "Tim McGraw," was about her relationship with McGraw's music, and she would go on to collaborate with Keith Urban on numerous other occasions.

4 "This Is What You Came For" By Calvin Harris, Featuring Rihanna

Technically, "Taylor Swift" was not featured on this song, but rather "Nils Sjöberg," a pseudonym that Swift used so that her famous name would not overshadow the music. However, after her breakup with Calvin Harris, Swift later revealed that she co-wrote the song and that she sings background riffs on the track.

3 "Babe" By Sugarland

Taylor Swift and Patrick Monahan (the frontman of Train) originally wrote the song "Babe" for her album Red, but it did not make the final track list. Instead, she offered the song to country music duo Sugarland to record for their 2018 studio album Bigger, and Swift also offered to record additional vocals for the track. Taylor Swift is the only featured artist on the album, and "Babe" is the only song on the album not written by Sugarland members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush.

2 "Renegade" By Big Red Machine

Big Red Machine is a band featuring Aaron Dessner of The National and Justin Vernon from Bon Iver. Taylor Swift fans will be familiar with both of those names, because they were both heavily featured on her 2020 studio albums Folklore and Evermore. In 2020, Aaron Dessner announced that Taylor Swift would be featured on Big Red Machine's next project, and in July 2021 "Renegade" was released as the third single from the album.

1 "Birch" By Big Red Machine

"Birch" is Taylor Swift's second collaboration with Big Red Machine, and it has not yet been released. It will be released along with the entire album How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last on August 27, 2021. The full credits of the song have not yet been made public, but Swift likely co-wrote the song and will sing on the track. The song will be five minutes and thirty seconds long, making it the longest track on the album.
