Whether we like to admit it or not, but many of our favorite actors have very fragile egos and attitude issues, so even the slightest inconvenience can upset them. This often leads to on-set drama, fights, and altercation, and in many cases, it would end up with somebody getting fired or storming off the movie set.

Even though she ended up on this list, the late Diana Rigg was certainly not somebody who was difficult to work with on sets. On contrary, everybody who has worked with Rigg showed only admiration and love for her. Rigg's Game of Thrones co-star Jessica Henwick remembers how one time the late actress stormed off the set because the camera crew was not ready on time.

"She walked onto the set, and she went, 'I’m ready now!'," said Henwick in an interview with EW. "And she just started doing her lines. She did two takes, and then the guy came over and was like, 'Great, now we’re going to do a close-up.' And she just stood up and she went, 'I’m done!'

Let's move onto the Academy Award-winning actor Russel Crowe, who also angrily left a movie set once. In 2018, while filming the Australian bushranger movie The True History of the Kelly Gang, Crowe reportedly lost his temper after realizing there was no more rice left in the studio's cafeteria, so he stormed off. According to Daily Mail, the crew was warned about the actor's angry mood through text messages.

When she accepted a role in the Italian comedy/drama movie A Golden Boy, Sharon Stone had no idea how much bad press she would get. And no, it's not because the movie flopped or her acting was not good, but because she was acting like a diva during her whole stay in Italy. At one point, according to the movie's director Pupi Avati, the Basic Instincts actress left the set because she was bothered by paparazzi.

6 Lea Michelle

If you asked Heather Morris, Samantha Marie Ware, or Amber Riley what they think their Glee co-star Lea Michele, you'd get some interesting answers. They all agree that Michele is rude, acting like a diva, and there were even some accusations of racism towards one of Michele's co-stars. At one point during the filming, Michele left the set of Glee in anger because the late Naya Rivera complained to the producers about Michele's diva behavior.

5 Gene Hackman

While filming French Connection — a 1971 action thriller movie which is often described as one of the best movies ever — Gene Hackman got into an argument with the movie's director William Friedkin and left the movie set. Of course, the actor returned to the set after some time, and it is a good thing that he did— this role got him an Acadamy Award for Best Actor.

Another actor who is not a stranger to walking off movie sets is Carl Weathers, who you might recognize from the Rocky movies. While filming Rocky 3, Weathers wasn't getting along with his co-star Dolph Lundgren, and the two got into a fight. While shooting their boxing scene, Lundgren threw Weathers across the boxing ring after which Weathers left the set yelling. It took four days for Sylvester Stallone to bring peace back to the movie set.

3 Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is one of those celebrities who seems to constantly have issues with obeying the law. So it shouldn't really come as a surprise that she ended up on our list today. According to director Paul Schrader, who she worked with on the movie The Canyons, Lohan would often just disappear from the set so one of the movie's producers would usually follow her around when they're not filming. One time while they were heading for lunch, Lohan even jumped out of the producer's car and ran away with her assistant.

2 Sacha Baron Cohen

We're moving on to Sacha Baron Cohen, who was supposed to star in the 2018 biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody as the legendary musician Freddie Mercury. The role eventually went to Rami Malek, after Baron Cohen decided he didn't like certain things about the movie and left it. "I said: ‘Listen, not one person is going to see a movie where the lead character dies from Aids and then you see how the band carries on,'” explained the Borat actor to Howard Stern.

1 Emma Watson

While Emma Watson isn't someone who is usually associated with scandals and controversy, she too was in a situation where she had to leave the set. In 2013, while working on Seth Rogen's This Is The End movie, the Harry Potter actress refused to do a cannibalism scene and left the set. When he was asked about this during an interview with British GQ, Seth Rogen said: She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings."
