If you're Adam Devine you probably want to stay away from Saturday Night Live after-parties. This is because not one but three celebrity feuds were basically ignited because of his presence. The funny this is, the Workaholics alumnus didn't intentionally anger these famous celebrities. It was all by accident.

Adam is one of those lucky actors who get to go to the often star-studded SNL after-parties. In the SNL culture, these parties are massive. It's how the cast and crew let off steam after the intense schedule that leads up to their weekly live shows. They get to drink, eat, party with A-listers and get into fights with Adam Devine apparently... Of course, this is far from the worst thing that's happened to the Modern Family star. After all, he now has three uproariously funny stories to share. But at the time, each of these encounters caused quite a bit of conflict. Here's what happened...

Adam's First Feud Was With Andy Samberg

Adam explained that the incident with Andy Samberg happened when he was invited to a Saturday Night Live after-party due to his friendship with Jillian Bell. At the time, Jillian was a writer on SNL and scored her Workaholics colleagues, including Adam, tickets to the after-party.

"We got to the SNL after-party and Andy Samberg's there. And we're all fans and it was cool and [Jillina] introduces us. And the music is loud and [Andy's] sitting across the table and Jillian goes, 'Andy, this is my friend Adam. Adam, this is Andy.' And I go, 'Hey, I'm Adam.' And he goes, 'No, I'm Andy! It's Andy!' And I go, 'I know, I'm Adam!' And he's like, 'It's ANDY! IT'S ANDY!' And I'm like, 'I KNOW! I KNOW YOU'RE ANDY, I'M ADAM!' And he's like, 'I'M ANDY!'" Adam explained while being interviewed on the This Is Important podcast.

The conversation went back-and-forth like this for some time with increased aggression as both actors thought they were being rude to one another. Perhaps Andy believed he was being purposefully mistaken for SNL icon Adam Sandler. While this could have been played for jokes, Adam received a call from his agent a couple of days later about the incident. Turns out, Andy was represented by the same agent and had shared the story about the altercation. In fact, Andy claimed that he and Adam almost got into a fistfight because of it.

Because of this, Andy and Adam sat down together and Andy explained that people purposefully call him 'Adam' just to belittle him. Of course, this was just a massive misunderstanding and the air was cleared between them. However, this wasn't the only celebrity feud Adam found himself in because of an SNL after-party.

Adam's Second Feud Was With Jon Hamm

Yes, Adam found himself angering Mad Men and Bridesmaid's star, Jon Hamm. It happened at another Saturday Night Live after-party that Adam admits to being way too drunk at. In fact, he said that he was literally carried out of the party because of his drunken belligerence.

"I remember talking to Jon Hamm. He was talking to some band, I don't know the name. They wore cool hats they're really tall," Adam explained, referring to Arcade Fire. "They're in a circle and I just chum up with them and try to get into the conversation and I am so drunk. And I remember, I am a fan of Mad Men. So, like I am a fan of Jon Hamm. And his look of disappointment... Jon Hamm has the best look of 'I'm so disappointed in you, you're such a piece of s***'. And he just looked at me with that look and it was like I was on the show. I loved it. I didn't back down. I just stayed in the pocket like, 'Look at him go!'."

Adam's Third Feud Was With Chris Rock... Sort Of

Another time Adam was invited to an SNL after-party, he took his longtime girlfriend, actor Chloe Bridges. This is when he accidentally ran afoul of iconic comedian Chris Rock. Although, to be fair, it wasn't entirely Adam's fault. In fact, it was Chloe's...

"We were talking with a lot of the younger people and we are sitting in a chair," Adam explained. "And she laughs and clocks her head back in a classic big Chloe laugh and rocks someone in the d***. And he goes, 'Oh, man!' And we look up... It's Chris Rock."

While this last negative encounter wasn't as big of a deal as the other two, it definitely proves that Adam Devine is a total liability at any Saturday Night Live after-party. Future stars of SNL, take note!
