Adam Sandler's wife, Jackie is probably one of the reasons the actor is one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in Hollywood.

Even after landing a $250 million deal with Netflix and starring in multiple blockbusters, the Hustle star still follows his wife who has some strict rules when it comes to his health. She's even "tag-teaming" with Jennifer Aniston to make sure Adam maintains a healthy lifestyle.

How Did Adam Sandler Meet His Wife Jackie Sandler?

Jackie started her career as a model back when she was in high school. In 1999, she made her acting debut when she played Sally in Rob Schneider's Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

That same year, she met her future husband on the set of Big Daddy where she was cast as a waitress in the local sports bar. The two tied the knot in 2003 in a star-studded Jewish ceremony at Dick Clark's oceanfront Malibu property.

The couple welcomed their first child, Sadie in 2006. Two years later, Jackie gave birth to another daughter whom they named Sadie. The girls have made an appearance in Adam's films, including Hubie Halloween, Hotel Transylvania, and Murder Mystery.

"They make it look like I'm forcing them to do it," the Uncut Gems star said of her daughters' cameos during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. "Meanwhile, they were asking me the whole damn year, 'Can I be in your next movie, Daddy?'"

Jackie — who's appeared in many of Adam's box office hits — was actually the reason her husband did Uncut Gems. "My badass wife, she gave me the balls to take the part," he said after receiving the best actor award at the 2020 National Board of Review Gala.

"I was scared and she said, ''Go f--- do that' and 'You can do that s---' and we rehearsed together all the time." Adam previously said that he and his wife "try to make each other laugh, try to listen, try to include each other, try to support each other. We try our best — that's all. And we don't ever think of not being together. We always talk about our future together."

How Adam Sandler's Wife & Jennifer Aniston Make Sure He's Healthy

In 2021, Adam told The Hollywood Reporter that his wife and Jennifer are "tag-teaming" to make sure he lives a healthier lifestyle.

"She's [Jennifer] certainly not afraid to have me show up on a set, and in my trailer is a whole bunch of whatever shake I should be drinking and it's usually green," he told the publication. "And I actually drink it so I can look her in the eye."

He added: "She and my wife have a nice time tag-teaming to try to make me a healthier human being. Like, they want me to stretch more — eventually be able to touch my toes, which I'm about 9 inches away from." Jennifer and Jackie are close friends as well.

In fact, the former even told her husband to give it his all during his romantic scenes with his longtime collaborator. "Jennifer is one of my closest friends and Jackie's closest friends.

So, she's like 'Would you give Jennifer some sort of good time with that kiss please?'" Adam told Access Hollywood.

Inside Adam Sandler & Jennifer Aniston's Longtime Friendship

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jennifer shared that she first met Adam a long time ago when she was dating one of his friends. "We were, like, 14," the Friends star quipped. Later, in an interview with E!, Adam said that he knew he'd be friends with Jen right at the start.

"I knew I was going to be friends with her," he said of their first meeting. "I didn't know I was going to be making movies with her. We both didn't know that, we were young and we didn't have jobs quite then."

The ageless Hollywood sweetheart also treats Adam like he's family. "He's such a mensch and you just love each other, he takes you in, and I'm very much the same way, and then you become family," she said of Adam. "It's like second nature."

The Hubie Halloween actor even revealed that he and his wife go to parties with Jen until the morning. "But Jen's also just funny as hell, and she makes you so happy. When we go to parties with her, there's no leaving the party," he said. "At 1 in the morning, I'll say to my wife, 'We're going to keep going, huh?'"
