The Truth About Omer Fedi's Career

Omer Fedi is a successful music producer and according to Seventeen, in 2020, he signed a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.

Because Omer's dad is a drummer, Omer became interested in the music business, and he and his family left Tel Aviv and began living in Los Angeles when he was 16 years old.

Omer Fedi loves making music with his pals and spoke to Variety about some of his latest hit songs.

Omer said, “I don’t understand how you can make music with someone that isn’t your friend, or someone random. If you don’t vibe together as a human, even if both of you are incredible musicians, you just can’t make good music.” He said of Universal, “They tried at the beginning, and I love my publisher, but I was, like, ‘No, I’ll just work with my friends, thank you.’”

Omer co-produced and co-wrote "Without You" by The Kid LAROI and "Mood" by Iann Dior and 24kGoldn.

Omer also has producing and writing credits for the hit song "Stay" by Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI.

When he was interviewed on Sirus XM, The Kid LAROI was asked if he was the reason why Omer Fedi and Addison Rae began seeing each other. He said, "I feel like they did probably maybe meet through me? Don't quote me on that, but I think they totally met through me." Then he laughed and said, "Whatever happened there, I had no part in that. I actually had no clue until, like, until a while after. No one really had any idea. It was kind of a low-key situation."

The Kid LAROI said that he and Omer are best friends and it's possible that that's how they met.

Omer Fedi said that he and KBeaZy figured out the song's melody. He said, “I didn’t even have my guitars, so I took Iann’s guitar, plugged it into the computer, and the first thing I played was the ‘Mood’ guitar riff. Then Goldn’s sitting on the couch and starts singing, ‘Why you always in a mood?’ He probably didn’t even know he was singing because he was so focused on the game."

Omer said that he was convinced that this would be an awesome song and told him "I won't be your friend if you won't record this."

The song features vocals by Iann Dior and 24kGoldn and there's a fun remix featuring Justin Bieber.
