With over five billion likes and almost 80 million followers on her official TikTok page, Addison Rae is one of the most popular influencers on the platform. At the young age of 20, the Louisiana native has really taken social media by storm — so much that her popularity has earned her endless endorsement deals, TV appearances, and now she’s even getting her feet wet as an up-and-coming singer.

While it may be crazy to think that Rae has already amassed an impressive $5 million net worth, the numbers certainly don’t lie. Companies are constantly trying to partner with the biggest TikTok stars to promote their products, and with Rae, it’s no different.

Fellow influencer Charli D’Amelio, who reportedly earns over $200,000 for a simple shoutout has an $8 million fortune to her name, so it’s not uncommon to hear that these influencers are pulling in some serious money. So how exactly has Rae managed to scoop up $5 million in such a short time? Here’s the lowdown…

Addison Rae’s Net Worth

One of Rae’s biggest deals came last year, in January 2020, when she signed with WME — the longest-running talent agency in Hollywood — who also handle the career opportunities of stars such as John Travolta, Eddie Murphy, Tyler Perry, Miley Cyrus, and many more.

In other words, Rae was in good hands working with one of the most respected agencies in the world, which was sure to do wonders for her profession as an aspiring singer, actress, and overall social media influencer.

WME is believed to have helped Rae secure a lucrative deal with Spotify over the summer of 2020 for the brunette to helm her very own podcast on the streaming platform alongside her mother Sheri Nicole on Mama Knows Best.

In August 2020, she launched her own cosmetics line called ITEM BEAUTY, which she created in partnership with Madeby Collective.

While it seems like every influencer is coming out with some sort of beauty line these days, Rae claims she’s always been passionate about cosmetics and using products that are now only vegan-friendly but also cruelty-free.

Her range of products is formulated with plant-based extracts and has been dermatology-tested, according to Ipsy.

“When I think about beauty and what’s important to me, it’s putting something on my face that I can feel good about,” Rae told the publication. “I wanted simple, unfussy products that are fun and don’t take themselves too seriously. That’s exactly the concept that ITEM was born out of.”

She also noted that while her line was only launching with six items, Rae had a string of ideas planned for the upcoming collections she plans to release later down the line, which would strongly indicate that the makeup deal is a multi-year partnership.

In other words, Rae will continue to roll in dough just from her cosmetics business alone.

More recently, in March 2021, Rae dropped her very first single, “Obsessed,” produced by Benny Blanco, which she later performed on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

With limited promo, “Obsessed” failed to enter Billboard’s Hot 100, but still managed to chart in countries such as Ireland and Canada where it earned the No. 64 and No. 74 spots, respectively.

Though her success literally may have come out of nowhere, Rae says she’s beyond grateful for the opportunities that have come her way in the past two years, stressing that she doesn’t take anything for granted.

In February 2021, she took part in an interview with Glamour, where she revealed how the rise to stardom hasn’t been all that easy to cope with — particularly with online trolls constantly targeting her with not-so-nice remarks, which she believes is purely out of jealousy.

“I've dealt a lot with online hate and social media drama, with people that are very opinionated and don't want people to be happy,” she explained.

“People see people's successes sometimes and wish it was them, which is totally understandable. I've even been there in my life too, where I'm like, ‘I wish I had this or I wish I had what she had.’ That brings you envy sometimes and I would bring that anger out onto them, which has never been a fulfilling thing. I’ve realised you have to be happy for people.”

Earlier this year, Deadline revealed that Rae had signed yet another deal — this time with Netflix — to star in the upcoming He’s All That remake with Tanner Buchanan, Rachael Leigh Cook, and Kourtney Kardashian. Yes, you read that correctly.

The upcoming comedy flick has been filming for the past couple of months and is expected to hit the streaming giant’s platform late this year.
