For the first time, it seems one of Addison Rae’s paid endorsements is backfiring in a huge way. Her promotion for Coca-Cola was such an epic fail that fans are reaching for Pepsi, instead.

Straight off the success of her cover for Glamour Magazine, Addison Rae thought she would ride on the waves of success with what was sure to be a highly paid promotional endorsement for Coca-Cola. Unfortunately, this seems to be the one time that she just couldn't get it right with her fans, and has resulted in fans migrating to the competition, instead.

Addison Rae's Coca-Cola Fail

Addison Rae usually knows how to hit the mark with her audience. Fans flocked to IPSY for the chance to dance with her, and her recent promotion of Tesla seemed to be well-received and widely drooled over. She gets paid tens of thousands of dollars to make sure her audience made up of millions of young fans buys into the brand she is presenting. This usually works well and major brands and labels are always vying for Addison Rae's attention for collaboration.

There's a long history of Addison Rae's success in this realm, but for some reason, her endorsement for Coca-Cola was an absolute flop. Fans were unimpressed with her over-acting and they weren't at all impressed with the way she opened the bottle of Coca-Cola.

Further proving how intricately detailed the world of targeted marketing and advertising is, the spotlight is shone on the fact that simply opening a bottle of Coke the wrong way is enough for a well-intentioned promotion to steer fans towards Coca-Cola's largest competitor, Pepsi.

Fans Want Pepsi Now

Fans are really perturbed by the way Addison Rae opened the bottle of Coca-Cola. Taking a bottle opener to the top on a strange angle and popping off the cap seemed to be enough to set fans into a tizzy about how strange this was. In the world of celebrity endorsements, that's apparently all it takes to turn off a purchaser.

Haters quickly commented by saying; "Ok but that is NOT the way you open a bottle," as well as; "oh wow, no" and "wtf did I just watch," as well as "that made me uncomfortable." Others wrote in to say; "Cringe asf" and "perhaps the most poignant and clear message sent to Addison Rae was; "Pepsi sales after this 📈📈📈📈"

It seems Pepsi is poised to reap the benefits of this blunder.
