I do like doing weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face." Weight lifting is a great form of exercise but burst facial blood vessels sound like a bummer.

9 When She Was 30 Years Old, It Was A Difficult Year

On her 31st birthday, Adele posted a picture to her Instagram with the caption: "30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean into it all. No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple of years and I’m still changing and that’s OK." She changed a lot over that year, especially in terms of her physical body! Her fans have loved and accepted her through every single change.

Adele had throat surgery in 2011 which was probably very nerve-racking for her, especially since she is known for being an extremely talented singer. In 2015, just a few short years later, she decided to officially quit her smoking habit for good. She is very dedicated and smart for deciding to quit smoking. Smoking is known to cause a long list of health issues and physical ailments.

One of Adele's greatest musical influences would have to be the Spice Girls. The all-girl English pop group consisted of Mel B, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham. Their nicknames were Scary Spice, Sporty Spice, Baby Spice, Posh Spice, and Ginger Spice. Adele has mentioned the singing group before in interviews. Adele attended BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology once upon a time. Other famous students who attended the same school were Jessie J, Leona Lewis, and the late Amy Winehouse. Obviously, that school has a great record for talented students being enrolled. Adele was amongst some very talented people during her time in attendance at BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology.

3 She Has 15 Grammy Awards

Adele was nominated for 18 Grammy Awards and ended up taking home 15 of them. She is incredible! Her song "Hello" alone won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year, Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance, and the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

In 2015, Adele described herself as a feminist. Some celebs are hesitant to make a claim like that because they do not want to get too much backlash. Adele has an album called 19 and she was 19 years old when she wrote all of the lyrics for it. She has an album called 21 which followed the same pattern. Her album 25 also followed in the same way.
