Al Pacino has had an impressive career, and he's been recognized by countless awards organizations and fans for a ton of different roles.

Not every film he's been in has been a thrilling experience, of course. Though he's had a lot of opportunities, he's said no to some projects, too. In fact, Pacino almost had a role in 'Star Wars.'

But Pacino has also built up some high-profile friendships, like his bromance with Robert De Niro. It seems that his movie career has led to some great and noteworthy moments.

But, it's also come with some downsides -- like that time he earned a Razzie award for a film.

Al Pacino has earned Tony awards, Emmy awards, and all kinds of other nominations. Stars like Keanu Reeves have even taken pay cuts to work with the esteemed actor. But when it came to the film 'Jack and Jill,' Al's performance wasn't exactly on point.

To be fair, it was an Adam Sandler flick that earned a ton of other Razzies as well. But Al's role in 'Jack and Jill' wasn't rated well, noted BBC. Though Sandler is accustomed to earning Razzies for his work -- and in this case multiple, considering he played both Jack and Jill -- he probably didn't mind the 'honor.'

Al, who played himself, received an award for the 'worst supporting actor,' but the movie also received awards in literally every other category, too. So it wasn't necessarily a slight toward Pacino, but he still wasn't impressed.

He didn't turn up to receive the award, for one thing. But hardly anyone ever does; Bill Cosby started a trend of stars occasionally showing up to take their awards. Though Adam is familiar with getting razzed, he doesn't show up, either -- not for any of his 12 awards.

And the ultimate Razzie champion, Sylvester Stallone, has never appeared in person to claim his 20 Razzies.

It may not be a record to be proud of, necessarily, but it's clear that Al Pacino considers himself a serious actor. He's earned more esteemed awards for his films, been recognized by film institutes and fans, and continues to act even at the age of 80.

So while Al may not be proud of the Raspberry award, it likely won't mar his otherwise excellent acting record. And to be fair, he probably should've expected a bit of razzing for having appeared in such a silly film with Adam Sandler.

If he does want to be taken more seriously, Al has probably learned to steer clear of Sandler projects, and anyone else who is a record-holder when it comes to Razzie awards.
