Alanis Morissette Announces 25th 'Jagged Little Pill' Anniversary Concert Tour

Believe it or not, but it has been 25 years since the release of Alanis Morissette’s hit album, ‘Jagged Little Pill.’

The music was the soundtrack of the ‘90s, and fans of the singer couldn’t get enough. “You Oughta Know” was the “break-up” anthem that gave gals (and guys too) a release from their relationship frustration.

Fast forward to now, and Morissette is ready to rock it out again, with a 31-stop concert tour to revisit her tunes and perform for the masses who’ve missed her.

The tour starts on June 2 in Portland, Oregon, and Morissette will be joined by fellow musicians Garbage and Liz Phair. Tickets are being sold starting Dec. 10 (pre-sale), with tickets available to the public on the 13th.

Perhaps this tour will introduce a new generation to the music of Morissette, but she can count on her ‘90s audience to see her shows and sing along to every word.

Will Morissette be as angst-ridden as she was a quarter century ago? Hopefully, even if it’s only just an act.

For those fans who want even more Morissette, there is a Broadway show opening this week called ‘Jagged Little Pill,’ inspired by her lyrics. Live theater is always a blast, especially when the music is so meaningful.
