Amelia Hamlin just took a swipe at her former partner Scott Disick!
Earlier this month, Scott Disick and his girlfriend Amelia Hamlin split after nearly a month of dating. Their split was so permanent that the couple went as far as deleting each other's photos from their social media accounts. Internet users soon concluded that the reality television star would soon find someone “younger” to replace the 20-year-old model.
Hamlin, who is the daughter of actors Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin took a jab at Disick on Instagram today. The model shared a cryptic tweet which appears to be referring to her year-long relationship with him.
Amelia Hamlin Is Over Scott
The young model shared a quote to her Instagram story, hinting at how she felt about her recent breakup. It reads: “The longer you entertain what’s not for you, the longer you postpone what is…Read that again.” It appears as if Amelia has discovered that Scott wasn’t the right partner for her, and resonates with the quote posted to her social media.
Social media users wondered why Amelia was pondering over things of the past, and believe her reason behind sharing the quote truly means their relationship has "ended for good".
"He’s literally her fathers age - she’ll be fine..." a comment read.
"It ended before it started," said another.
"Her fault getting into a relationship with a man with 3 kids.." a user added.
"Little girl, woke up from a deep sleep.. she shoulda known better... As for him?... ugh, creepy" gushed another.
While fans didn't expect their whirlwind relationship to last long, Amelia was always friendly with Disick’s children and accompanied them on family trips together. She was also trolled for trying to be a “mother” to his daughter and morphing into a Kardashian.
Hamlin had been warned by fans on multiple occasions that Scott was still in love with his baby mama Kourtney Kardashian, despite her serious relationship with rockstar boyfriend Travis Barker. Amelia broke up with Scott a week after he was caught shading Kourtney with her former boyfriend Younes Bendjima, who posted a screenshot of his message to social media.
The scandal was the last straw in their relationship and Hamlin realized she was done with him. When they began dating, Amelia was just 19 years old which made Scott 18 years her senior. The couple faced fierce criticism due to the age difference, and fans weren’t pleased about Scott dating her just a few months after he broke up with the model Sofia Richie, who he also started dating when she was 19.
Hamlin has been signed to Women 360 Management modeling agency in New York City since June 2020. Though she’s relatively new to the modeling world, the 20-year-old has appeared on many runways and has been in major campaigns such as Levi’s, Rihanna’s Save X Fenty makeup line as well as Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS innerwear.
