When American Horror Story premiered back in 2011, no one could have guessed how big of a success this anthology horror series would become. Kicking the list off is the American actor and singer Cheyenne Jackson, who joined American Horror Story back in 2015. Jackson has appeared in four seasons of AHS so far, or to be even more precise, in 43 episodes, with the latest season being season eight from 2018, but we are sure that we'll see more of him in the future seasons.

Next on the list is Emma Roberts, who joined AHS during its third season, titled American Horror Story: Coven. Apart from Coven, where she portrayed a telekinetic witch, Roberts also appeared in four other seasons of AHS.

Bassett joined AHS for its third season, just like Emma Roberts. After starring in Coven, the actress also appeared in other AHS seasons like Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, and Apocalypse. So far, Angela Bassett has appeared in 48 episodes of AHS and her fans are patiently waiting for her return.

7 Jessica Lange - 53 Episodes

Every AHS fan will agree that Jessica Lange and her iconic characters played a huge role in making this show so iconic. Jessica Lange joined the cast for AHS's first season, but she left the show after season four. "When I originally agreed to do this, it was for one season," said Lange in an interview with Deadline, adding that Ryan Murphy later approached her for another season. "Instead, I agreed to do three more seasons. I have no regrets or second thoughts about that decision. But there's always an end to everything," said the actress. Lange has appeared in a total of 53 episodes.

6 Frances Conroy - 58 Episodes

Actress Frances Conroy, who is mostly known for her work on HBO's Six Feet Under, is next on the list. Conroy was a part of American Horror Story since season one, where she portrayed the character of Moira O'Hara. Since then, Conroy has gone to appear on seven more seasons of the show, with the latest one being Double Feature, which was released in August this year.

Bates received her second Emmy award for her role as Delphine LaLaurie. So far, she's been featured in five out of ten AHS seasons. Bates was supposed to star in the current season too, but she was replaced by Frances Conroy after Bates dropped out due to health reasons. 4 Lily Rabe - 61 Episodes

Next on the list is Lily Rabe who joined AHS for its first season back in 2011. The role of Nora Montgomery was actually the actress's first regular role on a TV show. Since then, Rabe has appeared in almost every season of AHS — her only absence was in season seven, titled Cult. 2 Sarah Paulson - 95 Windows

The runner-up on today's list is Sarah Paulson, who joined the cast in 2011 for its first season. Since then, Paulson has appeared in almost every season, except 1984. The actress is currently starring as Tuberculosis Karen in AHS: Double Feature. Sarah Paulson has appeared in 95 episodes, as of now. but depending on how many episodes of the current season she appears in, her total episode count could easily reach 100.

He has been part of the cast since the very beginning and he's starred in almost every season, apart from 1984, ever since.
