Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer chose a very interesting way to announce their exciting baby news via Schumer's friend, Jessica Yellin, a fellow supporter of News Not Noise on Instagram.

Around nine months from now, the world will gain an extra person who may inherit a talent for cracking jokes, cooking, or both! That's right, comedian and actress Amy Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are expecting their first child! The newlyweds tied the knot in a small, private ceremony in Malibu, California just months after they began dating in November of 2017. Their wedding took place the day before Valentine's Day this year with less than 100 guests in attendance including celeb pals such as Larry David, Chelsea Handler, David Spade, Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Jennifer Lawrence. Speculation as to why Schumer and Fischer's whirlwind romance fast-forwarded to a trip down the aisle quickly spread online and many fans came right to the point, asking Schumer if she was pregnant.

People reported that Schumer was quick to shut down rumors soon after the wedding by posting the statement, "No I'm not pregnant" across social media. But this Monday, things were very different as Yellin, Schumer's personal pal, former Chief White House Correspondent for CNN and fellow supporter of News Not Noise, posted a list of Amy Schumer's voting recommendations to Instagram followed with a single line of personal news.

“I wanted to share some news from our community, maybe it’s noise but it’s happy noise,” Yellin posted to Instagram. “So I’m not in the business of making voting recommendations, but these are the recommendations of Amy Schumer, one of the most consistent and earliest supporters of News Not Noise. Now read all the way to the bottom, you’ll see there’s some news down there. Congratulations, Amy.”

Following the list of Schumer's personal voting picks was the line: “I’m pregnant-Amy Schumer.” Should we be surprised by Schumer's choice of public pregnancy announcement, mixed with politics? Not at all. The funny woman has been vocal about where she stands on political issues for years. In 2016, 200 ticket-paying audience members walked out of Schumer's Tampa comedy show when she began speaking negatively about the leader of the U.S.

Just recently, Schumer has been outspoken about her support for former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who kneeled on one knee rather than standing for the National Anthem before a game as a way of protesting police shootings and social injustices against African-American men. To support Kaepernick, Schumer has encouraged her fans to  She was also recently arrested during a protest against Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Schumer has kept her love life private for the most part but we can't wait to see what humorous posts she has up her sleeve as her pregnancy advances.

We wish Schumer and Fischer all the best with preparing for and welcoming their bundle of joy!
