Keanu Reeves is one of the most beloved actors as he has a reputation for being a sweetheart who doesn't buy into the superficial parts of fame. After starring in the John Wick movies, he has proven that he can become an action star, no problem, but he can also appear in comedies like Netflix's Always Be My Maybe.

Winona Ryder loves Keanu Reeves and it's easy to see that he has many famous admirers (and, of course, regular people love him too). Reeves doesn't live in the spotlight the way that many other actors do, as his fans don't know a lot about him, but one thing is for sure: he has a beautiful mansion in the Hollywood Hills and it's worth a ton of money. Let's take a look at it.

An $8.07 Million House

Keanu Reeves has a $360 million net worth so it's only logical that he has spent a lot of money on real estate.

Keanu Reeves lives in a house worth $8.07 million. According to Velvet Ropes, the house is from 1988 and has a courtyard, a garage with room for three vehicles, and a pool.

The house has three bathrooms and two bedrooms and is 5,607 square feet. As Velvet Rope explains, shedding some light on how much this house is worth: "Keep in mind that according to real estate estimates, the average home in the area sells for around $1.725 million. His pad is literally 223.61% higher than the median listing price. Even crazier is the fact that the property appreciated a whopping $3.22 million since he purchased it in 2003 for $4.85 million."

The website also mentions that there have been reports that Reeves has a house in Malibu, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

A Peek Inside?

People can't help but be curious when learning about a celebrity's mansion. It's tempting to want to take a virtual tour or at least see some pictures of what the interior looks like. A house like this one has got to have an incredible kitchen (maybe with a beautiful island?) and some cool features.

According to Velvet Ropes, there aren't any photos of what the mansion inside looks like. This proves how secretive Keanu Reeves can be, and while it's disappointing, it makes sense.

A Happy Home

Keanu Reeves has talked about how happy he is to have put down some roots and bought a house.

According to The Brampton Guardian, the actor said he used to travel a lot and had a "gypsy life." When he spoke at the Sanremo Music Festival once, he said he would have some rental houses in Los Angeles, but that was nothing compared to the feeling of owning a home. It's really sweet to hear him talk about this, and it's also very relatable for anyone who is a new homeowner.

He said, "And so for a couple of years I went looking and looking. And I had a wonderful experience. When you walk into a place and you go, 'Oh, this is it, this is it'. So I was able to live in that place, the home where I live now. It gives you something, you know, it's a safe place, a place to rest, a place to think, to entertain. It's great to have it."

Trouble With Fans

Unfortunately, Keanu Reeves has had to deal with fans who are so eager to get a glimpse at him that they will literally camp outside his house, which sounds like a real drag.

According to Meaww.com, Reeves said, "I'll come out in the morning and get my newspaper (and they’re there). You feel like an animal in a cage. They visit everyone's homes and sit outside. They look at you like: 'There's One!' And I get it. But walking around LA, no one cares pretty much."

TMZ.com reported in 2014 that someone broke into the actor's house. It was four in the morning and he woke up because there was a noise coming from the library. A 40-something woman was seated in one of his chairs, not saying anything. It turned out that she was a fan of his, and he was able to diffuse the situation, speaking to her in a peaceful manner. He then phoned 911.

Keanu Reeves also lives near some people with very recognizable names. According to Republicworld.com, in June 2020, Ariana Grande bought a mansion for $13.7 million, and Leonardo DiCaprio also lives in the area.

Fans of Keanu Reeves definitely love hearing that he has such a cool mansion, and hopefully he'll be able to live there peacefully without so many unwanted visits from fans.
