Kim Kardashian West is best known for her work as a reality star for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But she's also known for being the queen of contouring. With a net worth of $350 million, she invests in a $4,500 skin care routine. She wrote on her blog about the products she keeps in makeup cabinet at all times, "I love to try out new beauty and skin-care products, but there are some that I'll just never give up. I've gotten into such a good routine because I use products that work together and really see results!"

She shared to Allure her step-by-step makeup process, "I put on all my foundation first. I powder my face, then I put on concealer... and blend it with a pink egg-like sponge, the BeautyBlender. Then I contour all here—think of a three. I go cheekbones, under chin, then the top."

She starts her skin care routine using the Purity Clean Cleanser from CosMedix. The product is formulated for oily and acne-prone types, which uses tea tree oil to help clarify the skin. After she cleanses, she uses a serum. She's using the CosMedix Serum 16, a retinol serum that she uses in the night. Retinol can help reduce fine line and wrinkles since it stimulates your body to produce more collagen. The serum also has squalene, a super hydrator. The list of serums she also uses are Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum and Super Anti-Aging Serum, La Mer's Genaissance de La Mer The Serum Essence, La Mer The Concentrate and Guerlain Orchidée Impériale Longevity Concentrate.

Then after she uses a serum, she uses a face cream. She uses The Rich Cream from Augustinus Bader, which is a bit of a Holy Grail product. It was formulated by a German professor, it uses a combo of amino acids, vitamins, and other molecules to help boost the body's own production of stem cells in order to reduce signs of aging. It's also free from synthetic fragrance and silicone. She tops the face cream with eye cream. She uses The CosMedix Opti Crystal treatment, which works to address all areas of tired eyes: dark circles, lines, and puffiness. She swears by Chanel's L'Huille Rose Body Oil, which she calls it "heaven in a jar". The elixir uses helianthus annus flower oil and smells like a French rose garden.

She extends her skincare routine on her chest and neck as well. She told Elle in an interview, "I always put skincare all over, I think that’s really a necessity; I put it on my legs, my arms. You really have to do your neck and your chest. I might not like the scent of something, but if I feel like it’s powerful product I’ll use it all over my body." She said that she inherited her low-maintenance exfoliating routine from her mother, Kris Jenner. The beauty mogul said, “My mom learned you should exfoliate your face with a hot washcloth at every washing. She’s seen the same facialist since she’s been 18 years old.” She suggests exfoliating once a week, she said, "You can use a physical exfoliator, like a facial scrub, or a chemical exfoliator, like a glycolic peel that helps resurface skin’s texture and prevent acne." Her favorites are Ole Henrikson's Transforming Walnut Scrub and Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Facial Pads.

She pointed out the importance of staying hydrated. She said, “I’m really big on moisturizer. I’m really big on the scent rose. I have rose mist by my bed. I’m a moisturizing freak. I’m a hydrated mom on the way to school.” She fights off wrinkles by using products that have retinol. She said, "To combat wrinkles, you should begin using products that contain retinol. When using a retinoid, you must wear sunscreen every day. And, because the skin around the eyes is the thinnest and first to show signs of aging, it’s also important to introduce a moisturizing eye cream to your skin regimen."

She wrote on her app about microdermabrasion, she says, "Microdermabrasion is such a good treatment option for anyone with sun damage, discoloration, acne scars and other blemishes. I love doing this type of treatment during the spring and summer, as the sun can be SO damaging to the skin. This at-home tool deeply exfoliates the top layer of your skin to reveal brighter and smoother skin.”
