American actor Timothée Chalamet and French-American girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp were first rumoured to have started their romance in the middle of 2018.
The young heartthrob got his big breakthrough from his role in Call Me By Your Name alongside Armie Hammer and shortly afterwards, he was in another film Lady Bird alongside Saorise Ronan. Depp is an actress and model, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis.
The pair first met on set of Netflix movie The King in June 2018. In the movie, Timothée Chalamet played King Henry V and Lily-Rose Depp played his wife Catherine.
In October the couple were spotted locking lips, sparking further rumours that the two are together, however, neither parties confirmed anything.
Timothée was then asked about the relationship back in 2019 at the Golden Globes by Access Hollywood. Timothée was asked if he would be meeting with her afterwards and he responded back with "I'm here with my mum". The reporter then went on and commented 'Lily makes you speechless' the actor laughed and replied 'Yeah'.
The Romance Starts
Then in September 2019 they made their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival to promote their film The King, which also starred Robert Patterson, Sean Harris and Joel Edgerton. The couple were seen walking alongside each other on the red carpet but took separate pictures for the paparazzi. There were moments when you could see the two looking into each others eyes.
Back in 2018 Timothée talked about his fear of the 'D' word which is date, he explained to W Magazine in January that 'date is very much a scary word, because then that context has been established'.
Lily-Rose had some positive things to say about her co star and rumoured boyfriend. "It's always exciting to work with somebody who you know has given themselves so wholeheartedly to their role and is so invested." she said in the Daily Mail.
That same month the two broke the internet with a picture of them in Italy kissing each other on a boat. This then led to having several memes going viral. However, according to recent reports the two have officially broken up.
The May edition of British Vogue apparently refers to Timothée as 'single'. In addition, several outlets note that the couple hasn't been seen together since December, where the two were spotted on a date night in New York City.
Still, neither parties have commented about the split.
The 24-year-old actor was previously dating Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon in 2013. Whilst Lily-Rose dated British model Ash Stymest for more than two years before the two decided to call it quits in Spring of 2018.
The 20 year old has since been seen out for dinner with Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse and a group of friends in LA, meanwhile Timothée has been spotted flying solo in London.
Could the pair be using the lockdown as an opportunity to part ways for a short period of time or is this calling it quits forever?
