Between a divorce from Brad Pitt and trying to care after her kids as a single mother, Angelina Jolie could not possibly do it all by herself. Hence why she has an entire staff filled with nannies, bodyguards, secretaries, and whatever else she needs help with in taking care of her six kids.

Ever wonder what it is like caring after the star of Tomb Raider and her bevy of children? Well, it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination, per the accounts of the following staffers listed below. Here are some of the things they said about working for the family.

10 The Kids And Their Language

No, we are not talking about one of the many languages that Angelina Jolie has taught them (fun fact: the Jolie-Pitt kids have taken classes in and are now well versed in speaking Khmer, Vietnamese, German, Russian, French, Arabic and sign language). We are talking about a certain unspoken, naughty language that would be frowned upon if heard indoors or outdoors, especially coming out of children's mouths.

One nanny spoke to Hollywood Life, spilling all about the kids erupt into chaos by fighting and dispelling "four-letter words" all night and day.

9 Even Bodyguards Take Care Of The Kids

One former bodyguard told Daily Mail that he took care of Angelina Jolie's kids almost as much as he parented his own kids, which - in the 17 months he spent working in the Jolie-Pitt household, with only six weeks of vacation in that time - left him exhausted before he even got back to his own family.

In the 2016 interview, he suggested that he "[fathered] them, basically" as a third parent in that house. For all of the nannies in that household, it apparently was not enough and even the bodyguard needed to do some nannying.

8 Don't Expect Too Many Off Days

Reading that last entry, you may have zeroed in on the fact that the bodyguard, out of the 17 months he was employed by Angelina Jolie, only saw six weeks worth of vacation time.

That actually is not too out of the ordinary for her employees, as she has been sued by a former secretary circa 2011 for $750,000 due to lack of time off. The one time that this staffer got time off, it was during sick leave and when she returned, she was fired.

7 Expect Angie To Open Up

Angelina Jolie is not a strict boss who refuses to speak to her employees outside of giving orders. She is very open to having intimate conversations with her staff, and even more open to sharing personal details about herself.

The former nanny for Jolie's children, Krisann Morel, told Daily Mail how the Oscar winner told her she was raised by nannies as a child. Furthermore, Jolie had mentioned that the reason for the constant nannying was because Jolie's mother couldn't stand to be around her because she looked so much like her father, who cheated on her when Jolie was a baby and left the family.

6 Expect Arguments, But You Won't See Them

Couples are always prone to fighting. Heck, adults, in general, are usually prone to a good shouting match or two every other day. This was no different for Brangelina - hence their inevitable divorce - but Jolie always made sure that it was never in front of the kids, or even the nannies.

One nanny told The Sun, "I am not privy when a couple is fighting over things. They don’t do it in front of the kids, [and] they certainly wouldn’t do it in front of the staff. Their issues are behind closed doors. But it takes two."

5 School Is Easy Peasy

We should probably put "school" in quotations here, as school in the Jolie-Pitt household was never conventional. There was a time they once attended the prestigious Lycée Français de New York but now have settled on being homeschooled.

Per the words of one of three nannies who spoke to Star Magazine in 2015, Angelina Jolie lets her kids "learn what they want and ignore the stuff that doesn't interest them ... And they don't take tests or do homework." To be fair, even the nanny admits it's not like they'll be going after "low-level jobs," so no need to waste time on basic education.

4 Get Used To Hippie Life

Another nanny who cared after Angelina Jolie and her children talked to Star Magazine in the same article and spoke on Jolie and Pitt being "unconventional parents."

Furthermore, she said, “It’s like they’re living in a hippie commune most of the time because Angie doesn’t believe in rules. She thinks it’s important for the children to have freedom of expression, but that doesn’t always work well.” So it sounds like having Angelina Jolie as a mom who doesn't hand out rules much.

3 Monitoring The Kids' Internet Use

In the same vein, there are still some rules for the kids, specifically in regards to using the internet. Another nanny from the same Star Magazine chat said that the kids can browse the internet whenever and however they want, but of course, there is a strict security team who monitors what they look up on the internet and how they use social media "for their own safety."

This same nanny also revealed that Jolie and Pitt had let their children watch their old movies, even ones like Fight Club. "It was weird for them to see their parents acting sexy," said the nanny.

2 Vacations With A Catch

One of the former nannies who spoke to Star Magazine recalled that they are allowed to accompany Angelina Jolie and her family on lavish, $2 million vacations that include gorgeous scenery and five-star hotel rooms. However, as with most great things in life, there is always a catch.

In this case, the catch is that nannies must still supervise and tend to the kids' needs on vacation, but perhaps to even more exhausting degrees because the children are always "running riot" all over the place, especially up and down the halls of the five-star hotels.

1 Expect To Be Replaced At The Drop Of A Hat

We mentioned earlier that one of her secretaries claimed to be fired shortly after returning from sick leave. This was not the first time that Jolie dropped someone from her staff and it wasn't the last.

When her legal battle with Brad Pitt first began, she hired Laura Wasser to represent her. Wasser has lawyered for major Hollywood stars like Stevie Wonder, Kim Kardashian, Johnny Depp, and currently, in the middle of his own divorce, Armie Hammer. However, suddenly in the middle of it all, Jolie dropped Wasser and replaced her Samantha Bley Dejean, who Jolie believed had a skillset that better suited protecting her kids.
