On the other hand, Sydney Sweeney has captured audiences with her outstanding performance in season two of the hit show Euphoria. With the finale of the show’s second season just wrapping up, fans believe that Sweeney is the most promising star of the series.

Halsey And Sweeney Meet On The Set Of “Graveyard” Music Video
There are a lot of things that fans may not know about Sydney Sweeney, one of which may be how came to know Halsey.
The pair met on the set of Halsey’s music video for their song "Graveyard", which was released in October 2019, shortly after the first season of Euphoria premiered in June of the same year.
Sweeney was apparently a Halsey fan in high school and actually attended some of the singer’s concerts in her younger years. Halsey is rumored to have been a fan of Sweeney’s, as well, and reached out to the actress about a possible collaboration on their upcoming music video.
Thus, a friendship was born.
The two became close during the filming of the music video, which features Halsey and Sweeney staring as lovers enjoying their time at a carnival, which soon turns sour when Sweeney abandons her love in an aquarium.
Halsey And Sweeney Cast In ‘The Players Table’
After their first meeting, the pair are set to work with each other once again on screen, but this time in a TV series brought to life by HBO.
Halsey and Sweeney are going to star in The Players Table, which is an adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s book, They Wish They Were Us.
The show is about two high school students (Halsey and Sweeney) that come of age in a town filled with liars where they don’t know who to trust as they try and solve the murder of their friend and classmate.
Notably, the HBO series will be Halsey’s first acting debut, where the singer-songwriter will also be one of the producers of the show.
Halsey took to Instagram to share her excitement about the upcoming project. “I am the luckiest girl in the world because I get to make my acting debut with my favorite human-being Sydney Sweeney.”
Shortly after the announcement of the project in 2021, Halsey and Sweeney teamed up to do a bikini-clad photo shoot showcasing their friendship, as well as Halsey’s About Face makeup line.
In one Instagram post from Halsey featuring her and Sweeney from the shoot, the singer wrote, “strong and tender, my favorite lady and I.” Fans anxiously wait for more information about the expected release date of the TV series.
Halsey And Sweeney To Appear In ‘National Anthem’ Film
Sweeney and Halsey’s friendship is still holding strong to date! The pair were announced to be co-stars in Tony Tost’s upcoming film National Anthem.
The film boasts a strong cast, including Simon Rex, Paul Walter Hauser, Toby Huss, and Derek Henry. The movie is said to be a gritty thriller centered around the search for the treasured Lakota Native-America Ghost Shirt.
Halsey shared a post on Instagram announcing her addition to the National Anthem cast, writing that they were “so honored and excited” for the opportunity. In the same post, the Grammy nominee also mentioned Sydney Sweeney directly, tagging the actress next to the phrase “hey bestie.”

Although fans started to ship Halsey and Sweeney together after their steamy swimsuit photo shoot, the two have actually never been romantically linked.
Currently, Halsey is in a relationship with screenwriter Alev Aydin. The two have been linked together since 2019 when Aydin was working with Sony to create a biopic of the artist’s life.
Halsey and Aydin welcomed a baby boy into the world together in July 2021.
