Pink and Christina Aguilera's beef was said to have ended a long time ago. But recently, it seemed like it was still an ongoing thing with each sharing their accounts of what sparked the feud. Both confirmed that it began way back in 2001 when the two singers filmed the music video for Lady Marmalade with Mya and Lil' Kim for Moulin Rouge.

They went to a club together, and that's where things got pretty crazy. However, the two have told very different stories about that event over the years. One of them was either lying or was too drunk to remember what really went down that night. Here's what Pink and Xtina have said about their feud and their current relationship.

Pink Said Christina Attempted To Punch Her

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live in 2017, Pink told Andy Cohen about the nature of her feud with Christina Aguilera. "We were super young and super new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha and she’s an alpha," She explained. "I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal." Andy then asked Pink if she had tried to get physical with Christina.

"Actually she swung on me in a club," Pink answered. "Hilarious! I was like, 'What’s happening right now? What’s happening?'" It does seem like a drunken catfight that wasn't meant to be as harmful as it sounds. They were indeed just two alpha women clashing. But where did all that tension come from?

Christina Said She Was Just Excited About A Kiss

In 2019, Christina also told WWHL about her version of the story. "I seem to have a different memory of a night we had at a club where we played Spin the Bottle. I have a love memory," Christina said. "I don't know...Look at her and look at me, I wouldn’t swing on her! She's like...she can beat my ass, are you kidding me? " So apparently, it was a Spin-the-Bottle-gone-wrong incident.

Christina said that she was only excited about a kiss. "I was like, oh, a kiss and all's good. And then she put her hand up like this [Pink covered her lips], and I was like, 'Oh, that's what we're doing? Alright,'" The Genie in the Bottle singer revealed. "She didn't want to get 'Dirrty.'" It sounds like the two got matched up for a kiss during the game but Pink wasn't feeling it despite Christina's enthusiasm. They must have really disliked each other back then.

Christina Said Pink Intimidated Her On Set Of The Music Video

"I've seen her behind the music and I know she had some feelings or whatever about how the recording of Lady Marmalade went down and all that," Christina shared to Andy Cohen. "In that actual video, she intimidated me a lot... She was heckling me in the audience behind the director. I was like 'What's going on?'"

The Ain't No Other Man singer was laughing as she remembered that moment. You know, like anyone would when reminiscing about a stupid childish thing they did in the past. Again, as Pink said herself, it was just this hilarious thing.

Christina Thinks Pink Is A Different Person Now

Christina clarified that the So What singer has definitely grown out of her taunting behavior on the set of Lady Marmalade's music video. "That's what she did back then but she's like you know, she's a different person now," Christina said. "She's a mom, she's cool." Pink has also echoed the same thing about Christina. The two have enormous respect for one another's journey through motherhood. Now, how wholesome, right?

Pink Said She'd Already Made Up With Christina

"Women have to learn how to support each other. It’s not taught to us on the playground," Pink said before telling Andy Cohen about how Christina swung on her during that infamous night out. "We're fine. Look, she's so talented, and deep down, I had bad days too," the Raise Your Glass singer said. "We made up on The Voice." In 2016, Pink reunited with Christina Aguilera in The Voice

That's when they officially put an end to all the feuding rumors. After that, their stories about working together and that Spin the Bottle game were only assumed by the media as reignition of the beef. But for the two singers, it's all behind them now. Both of them are even open to the idea of collaborating again if given the chance. That's something the fans would go crazy about, for sure.
