Ariana Grande has without a doubt become one of the biggest pop stars of our time, and rightfully so! Although she has gained worldwide notoriety, Grande was not always a pop diva, but a red-headed character on a very popular Nickelodeon show.

Prior to becoming the Ariana Grande, the "Thank U Next" singer starred alongside Victoria Justice on their hit show "Victorious". While the two appeared to have been extremely close friends back in 2010 when the show first began, it looks like it was all for show. After the show, unfortunately, got canceled in 2013, Ariana cast the blame on a cast member who wanted to go solo, hinting at Justice, which caused a major media frenzy pitting these two ladies against one another.

While it was later confirmed that there were a few misunderstandings, fans of both Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice were able to spot several instances where both stars were not getting along. Despite their long-lasting differences, the two appeared to have put it all aside for an online 2020 "Victorious" reunion. With all the being said, you might be surprised to find out that the two have allegedly been feuding for the past decade, and we are here to give you the scoop on exactly why.

10 The Feud Began Over 10 Years Ago

Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice appear to have been at odds for a whopping decade! Their feud began way back in 2010 when the two stars appeared on the hit Nickelodeon show "Victorious". Justice, who was the lead role on the television show, seemed to have butt heads with one another during their time on the show together. While the drama was not easily spotted on-camera, the two allegedly did not get along behind the scenes.

9 Their Feud Turned Into A Meme

While the two had never commented on their alleged feud just yet, it appears as if there was one moment that stood out enough for it to become a meme. Tensions were running high during an interview with Grande, Justice, and co-stars Elizabeth Gillies and Daniella Monet. The topic of quirky things came up and Elizabeth Gillies claimed that one fun fact was that Ariana sang at all times instead of talking, however, after some back and forth, Victoria Justice chimed in, quite loudly, to declare that, "I think we ALL sing". The interview turned into a meme 7 years later, which only re-ignited talk about the two's feud.

8 Ariana Blamed Victoria For The End Of "Victorious"

Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice remained cast members on the Nickelodeon show up until it was cancelled come 2013. Despite most cast members wanting to continue on with the show, it appears as if we know who was responsible for it ending all along. Ariana took to Ask.fm to answer a fan question about why the show ended. Grande replied by saying "1 girl didn't want to do it. She chose to do a solo tour instead of a cast tour". While Grande didn't specify who the "1 girl" was, it was clear that she was talking about Victoria Justice, considering Justice was quite literally heading on a solo tour that summer.

7 Ariana Revealed She Was Bullied By A Former Colleague

But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval". Again, Ariana didn't specify any names, but fans instantly believed it to be Victoria Justice and immediately began to come for her.
