Arnold Schwarzenegger did say ; "I'll be back", and that notoriously famous line from The Terminator definitely foreshadowed Arnold's return to the world of politics. He recently posted a video to his Twitter account and fans are populating his page with their views. Some are very much aligned with is train of thought, and are highly supportive of his powerful speech, while some critics are tearing apart the content he presented and are confronting him with their opposing views.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has had many moments in the spotlight. Many stemmed from his wildly successful movie career, which he himself seems critical of, and much of his relevance in the media has come from his time as the Governor of California. Of course, he's also made the headlines for his affair, which ultimately disbanded his family.  At some points, things got really heated, as fans and critics started their own conversation on the sidelines, each of them vehemently pushing their personal views forward.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's Controversial Post

Arnold began his video by sharing a personal story about his childhood in Austria. He related his experiences to recent events in the United States, by saying that Kristallnacht was comparable to the storming of the US Capitol. While many fans agreed with his views on the fact that Donald Trump needs to be stopped, and many fans chimed in to say that they do think it was inappropriate for him to condone and encourage this violent act by his supporters, many didn't like the Nazi references and comparisons and argued his perspective in relation to this part of his speech.

Fans were quick to weigh in by saying; "While I greatly respect Arnold for sharing his personal story & I agree with his overall message, the horrible riot on Jan 6 was incomparable to Kristallnacht." One person agreed with Schwarzenegger's overall perspective, but wasn't a fan of the reference he made. He said; "I liked it too but comparing last week's events to the "Kristallnacht" doesn't seem appropriate at all. At least from a German perspective. Nazi crimes and the horrors they brought on are unique in human history and must not be relativised."

Arnold Believes In Supporting The Country, Not The President

Arnold Schwarzenegger clearly has no respect at all for Donald Trump, nor does he think any support should be shown to any of the politicians that have enabled Donald Trump during his reign at the White House. He rallied his fans in support of America pledging allegiance to the country, and clarifying that it isn't necessary to support the current president, Donald Trump. Fans rushed to support his stance, saying; "Superb speech, thank you. If only there were some current Republicans in Congress who shared these same sentiments. Arnold is right - those who colluded with Trump will live in shame forever and rightly so. In the end, in the battle of the USA versus Trump, the USA won."

Another fan stated; "This is one of the most amazing speeches I have ever heard."
