Audrey and Georgia also appeared on TV for an interview in which they explained their life was pretty normal. Audrey's followers don't seem concerned with the details of the family's past, and she even seems to have a relationship with her two older sisters (from Mary Kay's first marriage).

What Was Audrey Lokelani Fualaau's Childhood Like?
Onlookers can only speculate about Audrey and Georgia's childhoods, but looking back at news reports from the time, it couldn't have been easy. Their mother was in prison for much of the girls' early childhood, and at the time, their dad was a minor.
The girls' paternal grandmother, Soona Vili, had full custody of their girls while Vili was still a child and while their mother was in prison. Judging by her social media, Soona has maintained a good relationship with her granddaughters despite their mother's actions.
What Happened To Mary Kay And Vili Fualaau?
Sources say that Audrey's parents were both active in their daughters' lives and that the family was together when Mary Kay passed away. But after all this time, Vili Fualaau seems to recognize that his story is uncommon and a little bit scary.
In a 2020 interview, he admitted that if he ever felt the way about a teenager the way his late wife did, he would "seek some help." Still, the pair remained together until Letourneau's passing, despite a legal separation that Vili claimed was for business reasons.
Either way, Vili and Mary-Kay's kids seem to have turned out just fine.
