This past Wednesday, Dynasty actress Liz Gillies shared photos of herself tying the knot with 47-year-old producer and composer Michael Corcoran. The two married on August 8th. Avan Jogia, who is best known for playing her onscreen boyfriend on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, sent a sweet message to the newlywed couple on Twitter.
In the comment section, Gillies responded, “Love you!!” with the crying face emoji.
Some fans of the show were happy to see Jogia’s heartfelt message toward Gillies. User @yourlizsource commented, “LOVE UR FRIENDSHIP OMG SO SUPPORTIVE." Another user named @lizplsrailme commented, "brb crying this is so cute."
The two actors best known for playing the roles of Beck Oliver and Jade West in the 2010's tween show Victorious, which follows aspiring entertainer Tori Vega and her friends as they navigate life at the performing arts high school Hollywood Arts. The show lasted for four seasons, starting in 2010 and ending in 2013.
Other former cast members from the show sent love to Gillies on Instagram. Matt Bennett, who played Robbie Shapiro, posted a comment that said, "My babies are all grown up 😭😭❤️😭😭❤️."
Victoria Justice, who played Tori Vega, congratulated her, as well, saying, "OMG LIZ!!!!! Congrats. So beautiful❤️❤️❤️." Leon Thomas III, who played André Harris, "Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ariana Grande, aka Cat Valentine, hasn’t commented on Gillies’s marriage. However, she did like the first two posts out of the four posted. She might make a post in the future or congratulated Gillies in private. Either way, we are all jumping for joy that Jogia took the time to congratulate Gillies on her marriage. This just shows that they have a true friendship even though Victorious ended seven years ago.
