Jesse Palmer is replacing Chris Harrison who hosted The Bachelor franchise for almost 20 years. Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe have been filling in for the time being until that spot was taken.

Now, Jesse Palmer will fill those shoes and he can take his personal experience as the lead with him. Palmer was The Bachelor in season 5 and he will now be the host of season 26 with Bachelor Clayton Echard in 2022. Clayton is from Michelle Young's season and he instantly won over the producers.

A new host, a mystery bachelor, a different mansion... what's next!

Jesse Palmer is a television broadcaster and former NFL quarterback who currently hosts The Ultimate Surfer on ABC. It is no surprise producers kept it in the ABC family and Palmer couldn't be more honored for the role.

“For more than 20 years, ‘The Bachelor’ has brought the world dozens of unforgettable love stories, including at one time, my own,” Palmer said in a statement. “Falling in love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and I am humbled by the opportunity to return to the show as host this season to offer the newest Bachelor advice gained from firsthand experience and I am grateful to play a small part in his journey.”

Fans Want Wells Adams Instead

Bachelor Nation has spoken...

"finding out they made jesse palmer the new host of the bachelor"

Fans were not emotionally prepared for this.

"Is it just me or does Wells Adams look different"

It's clear what Bachelor nation wants and it's Wells Adams. If producers feel that Jesse Palmer is the one for the gig then it's only fair to give the guy a fair chance.

Something entirely better could be in store for Wells who knows!
