Throughout her historic career, Barbara Walters was destined to have a few interviews get derailed, or not go her way. According to the late interviewer, among her worst of her entire career included a sitdown alongside, Warren Beatty.

Walters admitted that the interview was pretty dull and in fact, she had to cut to commercial when the two were running out of things to say.

Barbara recalls, "It is like pulling teeth to get him to talk,” Walters wrote. “Later, he explained that he had just flown to New York from Los Angeles… He said he must have fallen asleep during the interview, which was live. Well, thanks a lot.”

Walters also had an interview she regretted, alongside Ricky Martin. The artist claims this interview ruined his career, as the host kept pressing about his sexuality, despite Martin wanting to change topics.

Ultimately, Barbara realized her line if questioning may not have been the best.

"In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was. A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now I feel it was an inappropriate question."

Ricky Martin wasn't the only guest Walters wanted to put in the past.

Kathy Griffin Rushed Barbara Walters In The Bathroom Behind The Scenes On The View

When Griffin got word that Walters wasn't going to be on the show during her appearance, she decided to hit the studio earlier, in an attempt to encounter Walters.

Griffin found it bizarre that Walters wouldn't be at the show, and she would later find out it was because the host was headed to a fashion show.

Upon Griffin's early arrival to the show, she was told that Walters had just left. However, another member of the team would steer her into Barbara's direction. Griffin ended up finding the late-host in the bathroom, and basically waited for at the sinks until she was done...

Walters took a jab at Griffin, stating that she and everyone backstage knew she was there, given the scene Kathy made backstage upon her arrival. Finally, Walters told Griffin her appearance wasn't the reason she wasn't taking part in the episode, instead, it was because of a fashion show she had to attend.
