Bebe Rexha is a singer/songwriter, best known for her songs, "Me, Myself & I," "Meant To Be" and "Last Hurrah." She has opened for the Jonas Brothers on tour and written many songs for artists such as Selena Gomez, Eminen, Nick Jonas and more.

But one thing fans love her for, besides her music, is her curves and her unapologetic attitude towards them. However, sometimes it can take a toll on her. Rexha took to TikTok, on December 27, to talk about her weight gain and the affects it has had on her. However, this isn't the first time the singer has dealt with this. She has had designers turn her away and other people body shame her. This time, however, it was all her feeling insecure. She looks absolutely beautiful, but sometimes when society has certain expectations, people's body image can be altered.

Here's how Bebe Rexha deals with body image struggles.

7 Bebe Rexha's TikTok Video

On December 27, Bebe Rexha posted a video to TikTok about her latest body image struggles. She told her more than 7.1 million followers why she has been absent from the app recently. "I think I am the heaviest I have ever been. I weighed myself just now and I don't feel comfortable sharing the weight cause I feel embarrassed," she said, holding back tears. Rexha continued, “I don't feel good in my skin and when I don't feel good, I don't want to post. And that's really honestly the reason I haven't been posting in the last year or so as much as I used to."

It's ok to be honest and break down about these things from time to time, especially when a beauty standard is held for those in the entertainment industry.

6 She Called Out Fashion Designers

In 2019, Bebe Rexha called out a fashion designer who would not dress her for the Grammy Awards because she was "too big." Posting a video on her Instagram about it, the 32-year-old said, "You're saying that all the women in the world that are a size 8 and up are not beautiful and they cannot wear your dresses ... f**k you, I don't want to wear your f***ing dresses.”

5 How Bebe Rexha Dealt With It

Before telling the designer to 'f-off,' she turned to full on rage. When her stylist told her, people are saying she was too big to fit into the dresses, Bebe Rexha got really sad. The singer told Cosmopolitan UK in 2019, “It broke my heart. I was so sad, so depressed. I felt like I was garbage.” But that inspired her to make the viral video on her Instagram. It led to an outpouring of love and support from fans and other designers.

4 Embracing Her Curves

Bebe Rexha posted a TikTok video back in June 2021, showing off her curves in a lingerie set. "How much do you think I weigh? No one's business," she wrote on the video, as she posed and danced. "Cause I'm a bad b--- no matter what my weight. But let's normalize 165 lbs." She captioned it with "feeling like a bad**** today." And she certainly looked like it.

3 Bebe Rexha's Inclusive Lingerie Line

When you are feeling bad about your body, put on some lingerie that fits you perfectly! Rexha released her own lingerie line, Adore Me, earlier this year. The line is geared specifically towards encouraging body inclusivity and embracing one's sexy and positive image at the same time.

"I'm all about body positivity, inclusivity, and I was really excited to partner with a brand that really believes in that and has been pushing that for awhile. As a woman who wasn't the cookie-cutter pop-star, I hope to inspire women to love their bodies and feel beautiful at any size," she told PEOPLE.

2 She's Taking 'Good Care' Of Herself

In October 2020, Bebe Rexha talked again with PEOPLE Magazine about how taking 'good care' of herself helps her deal with body image issues. "When I have a bad week of eating, I feel so nasty — like when I eat tons of chips or croissants and whatever," she explained. "When I eat healthier and I drink more water and then I do even a little exercising or just try to live a little bit more actively, I feel so much better: I feel so much healthier, I feel so much sexier, and it's for myself. So I feel like that's a really important thing for me, to stay active and eat well."
