'Beetlejuice': What Was The Movie About?

The original film also stars '30 Rock' actor Alec Baldwin and 'Grey's Anatomy' star Geena Davis as Adam and Barbara Maitland, a recently deceased couple who haunt their former house and tries to scare the new inhabitants: a dysfunctional family comprised of Charles Deetz (Jeffrey Jones), his goth daughter Lydia (Ryder), and Charles' second wife, Delia Deetz, played by 'Schitt's Creek' and 'Home Alone' star Catherine O'Hara.

To get rid of the new family living in their house, the ghost couple enlist the help of the obnoxious Beetlejuice (also spelled Betelgeuse), a self-proclaimed "bio-exorcist" who makes his mission to wreak havoc on the Deetzes.

Chaos, obviously, ensues, with Beetlejuice taking over and Adam and Barbara forced to team up with Lydia, who is the only living person who is able to see them.

Will fans evee find out what happens in the sequel? Here's hoping this one will actually go ahead.
