Actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner seemed to have the perfect marriage, complete with three children. They were all loved up and gushed about one another all the time. Then, came 2015 and they were splitting up. What happened? Well, some say Affleck's battle with alcohol addiction killed off the marriage.
But some point a finger at the couple's "nanny" Christine Ouzounian. Some say that Affleck had an affair with the attractive young woman. Far from trying to keep everything on the DL, Christine seemed to go out of her way to link herself to Affleck.
It's true that Affleck and Garner were having big problems due to Ben Affleck's alcohol addiction. But maybe, just maybe there's more. Many think that, at least for a time, Christine and Ben were cozying up to one another.
Whatever happened to the bombshell nanny? Word on the street was that she was hoping for true love. It didn't happen. Well, Christine's moved on and appears to be doing pretty well for herself. Let's have look at what she's up to now.
Updated on May 13, 2022: Whether or not Ben Affleck and Christine Ouzounian had an affair, it's all in the past now. And speaking of the past, Ben Affleck has rekindled his romance with ex-fiancé Jennifer Lopez, and the two are once again are planning to marry. Hopefully, if they do tie the knot, this marriage will go better than Affleck's last one – and there won't be any rumors of cheating or affairs to complicate things.
Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner's Family Trip To The Bahamas
So the Affleck/Garners are vacationing in the Bahamas over the summer of 2015. Of course, Christine is in tow, supposedly to look after the kids. Rumor has it that Jennifer began to get suspicious of what was really going on between her hubby Ben and the nanny Christine Ouzounian. Tales of Ben seducing Christine in the shower and such were making the rounds. In any event, that's about the time that noted poker-player Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their split.
Christine even claimed that she and Ben were at it on that trip. She's not bashful our Christine.
Of course, once the story (or rumors) went viral, Christine (and Ben) were history as far as Jennifer Garner was concerned.
Jennifer and Ben split, but he continued to live in the guesthouse that comes with his home until 2017. And Jennifer and Ben made a point to do a good job of the co-parenting thing. The divorce was finalized in 2018, with Ben Affleck telling anybody who will listen that it was the biggest mistake of his life. He's been in and out of rehab, had a few relapses, but appears to be on a pretty good footing in his battle to get and stay sober. Affleck and Garner spend time together with their children, doing the co-parenting thing.
For much of 2015, Christine and her friends seemed to be doing everything they could to keep the story alive. Ben, on the other hand? He said it was garbage and a bunch of lies. Well, he would, wouldn't he?
And What Became Of Christine Ouzounian?
According to her LinkedIn profile, she moved into the real estate field and is an assistant vice president of a large title company in the Los Angeles area. Apparently, she is skilled in negotiations and all things real estate. She's even got the smiling shot of herself in a little blue suit just to prove she's serious.
Her resume is a little vague and claims at about the time she would have been working for the Affleck family that she was a "personal assistant" in New York City. There are gaps and just enough fuzziness to paper over the Affleck incident.
No Christine Ouzounian is alive and well and doing her real estate thing somewhere in Los Angeles. Money wise, she appears to have done quite well for herself.
