Ben Stiller took the time to revive beloved character Derek Zoolander to read some Donald Trump tweets.
There isn't much Derek Zoolander says that can be taken too seriously. After all, the idea of Ben Stiller's character in Zoolander is meant to demonstrate just how stupid Zoolander is when it comes to real-life situations. But, when the "most famous male model in the world" who also happens to be ridiculously good-looking decides to say something oddly similar to something the President of the United States says, it's hard to not only to pay close attention but not get a good chuckle out the audio clip.
This is what's happening now as a recording posted by actor Ben Stiller is making its way around the Internet. Stiller pulls out his Zoolander character to repeat the President's words from an over-the-top Trump tweet about him being a "genius." This must have been one of those Tweets Stiller found simply too hard to ignore.
The reactions from fans have been priceless. From comments that range from "Bloody brilliant, I can’t stop laughing..." to "Oh...he just did it. Thanks @RedHourBen. My year has been made," people can't help themselves from jumping on board and bashing the President who is often known for giving great nuggets on Twitter for the media and citizens of the U.S. to spit up and chew out.
Trump made a cameo appearance in the first Zoolander film and he must have made an impression on Stiller.
Most people tend to believe if you have to use social media like Twitter to call yourself a genius, the reality is, you're likely not one and it was this point that fans believe Derek Zoolander and Ben Stiller were trying to make. Game, set and match Mr. Stiller.
