Despite its title, there is a lot to love about 10 Things I Hate About You. It's got a young Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but apart from that, it's also got a ton of heart and emotion. Yes, it's a rom-com, but it's also impossible not to cry along with Kat when she reads her poem.

15 A Tale As Old As Time
What is a more classic storyline than a jock falling for a geek? Sure, the whole concept might be a bit outdated, but the movie is still packed with '90s charm. Did Laney really need the makeover to be beautiful? Of course not! But, we don't need that $500 Sephora shopping spree to be either! Watch She's All That ASAP!
14 Pottery: The Art Of Love
If you're looking for a tragic love story with a few laughs along the way, Ghost is absolutely the movie for you. While Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore teach us how to keep love alive in even the most impossible of times, Whoopi Goldberg reminds us that we have to chuckle occasionally, too.
13 Every Romy Needs A Michele
As important as Julia Roberts was to the '90s, let's not downplay how great Lisa Kudrow was back then. We all obviously love Phoebe Buffay, but Romy and Michele's High School Reunion is a masterpiece itself. Returning to High School is daunting, but if you've got your bestie, everything will be ok.
12 Cinderella Is Better As A Brunette
Ever After is here to fulfill all of your wildest '90s fairytale dreams. Before Hilary Duff did her Cinderella thing in 2004, Drew Barrymore did hers in 1998 (and absolutely slayed we would like to add). We all know the classic story, but this movie tells it best. Honestly, just look at the outfits!
11 A Refreshing Twist
Muriel's Wedding is very different from most of the movies on this list. While there are aspects or romance and friendship, this movie goes about them in a very untraditional way. Muriel is socially awkward, kind of a criminal, but also hilarious and simply looking for love. What's a girl to do?
10 Wrong In All The Right Ways
1999's Cruel Intentions is a must-watch for every woman at least once. First of all, it's pure magic to see a young Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe fall in love. Second of all, Sarah Michelle Gellar playing a scheming (somewhat drug addicted) teen will leave Buffy fans even more in love with their slayer.

Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier star in this 1999 teen love story. Drive Me Crazy is basically a go-to high school romance. When a girl gets dumped just days before prom, she teams up with her cute neighbor to make her ex jealous. Do we really need to say anything more?
8 The Remake Is Good, But The '90s Did It Best
Honestly, it doesn't really matter how we prefer this story. The original book, the '90s film or even the recent 2019 remake. All we are trying to ensure, is that every woman appreciates the March sisters' story. Though we do have to say, this '90s version will always have a spot in our hearts.

My Best Friend's Wedding teaches us why it's never a good idea to make one of those deals where you and your bestie promise to marry each other if no one better comes along. Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz star in this classic, so if you haven't watched it yet, what's the hold up?

Practical Magic deserves way more than its 21% on Rotten Tomatoes. Sure, it's no Pretty Woman, but it is the perfect '90s chick flick for any lover of the supernatural. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman play sisters who also happen to be witches. As great as that may sound, having their powers mean an automatic curse on the men in their lives.
5 Learn To Love Yourself Before Others
The Runaway Bride is an adorable rom-com, but it also has a pretty great message. After Julia Roberts' character becomes known as the bride who always runs, an outside observes helps her to realize the reason she keeps getting cold feet is because she keeps changing herself for her suitors.
4 Spice Up Your Life
Is Spice World top of the line cheesy? Absolutely! However, this is exactly why we love it. After all, it just wouldn't be the '90s with the Spice Girls, right? Even though the storyline virtually makes no sense, any girl who grew up in the '90s will always love this one.
3 The Sandler-Barrymore Chemistry Can't Be Beat
Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler have been proving their on-screen chemistry since 1998. While we've seen them in a couple of other films since then, it all started with The Wedding Singer. Sandler plays a broken hearted wedding singer, who falls for one of the brides who hires him. However, none of that's important. His airplane serenade is all that matters!
2 Besties Till The End
Thelma & Louise is not a film that can be skipped. Especially back in the '90s, these types of movies were rare. The bond between these two ladies is literally one that will live on forever. Also, if anyone has a thing for young Brad Pitt, this is definitely a film to check out.
1 You Jump, I Jump
Titanic may be two VHS tapes long, but it may also be the most romantic movie to ever be released. Rose and Jack's time together was very brief, but their love can be felt through the screen. Forget The Notebook, if you need a good cry, Titanic is the way to go.
