When thinking about the most talented singers and performers, Beyonce comes to mind immediately. With a great voice and stylish outfits, plus hairstyles that change often, the singer always keeps people interested and entertained.

Fans love hearing about Beyonce and Jay-Z's love story and the inspiring words that she has whenever she's interviewed. It seems like every story about Beyonce is positive. The singer is even friends with Michelle Obama and does a lot of good deeds regularly.

But what is Beyonce like IRL? Is she always a total sweetheart, or can she be mean? As it turns out, a fan has said that she's rude to the staff at restaurants. Let's take a look.

So Rude

Although Beyonce might seem down to earth at times, she also has a $70 million yacht, so it makes sense that there might be some stories of her behaving in a rude matter at times.

In 2002 and 2006, a waitress says that Beyonce was very rude. According to the post on Quora.com, she first encountered the singer at Pappadeaux, a restaurant in Houston, Texas, and Beyonce wouldn't look her in the eye. Solange was nice, but Beyonce wasn't.

The waitress also came across Beyonce in 2006 at the NBA All-Star Game which took place at the Houston Texas Center. As the server posted, "Again, incredibly rude. I get you are famous, but a true queen has class. So, in my opinion, 'Queen Bey' or whatever she is called, can kiss my you-know-what."

There's another story out there about a restaurant order connected to Beyonce. According to Louisvillefuture.com, Beyonce was signing at the KFC Yum! Center in December 2013, and Beyonce and the people working for her ordered a ton of food. Someone who worked for her came into a restaurant called Highlands Buffalo Wild Wings and paid for the $911. 28 bill. The order was four salads, five burgers, fish tacos, fried shrimp, 20 chicken tenders, more than 100 wings, and more than 100 boneless wings.

The problem? Not only did Beyonce's employee not leave a tip, which is impossible to believe when a restaurant bill is almost $1,000, but they weren't polite when ordering either. Mahogany Lucas, the cashier, even gave the employee free food and there wasn't a tip there, either. They said the employee was "very rude" and demanded the food be ready soon.

Some Pleasant Moments

Not every fan encounter with Beyonce has a restaurant has been bad, though, so it seems like while Beyonce has been rude sometimes, she's been totally fine at other times.

A 23-year-old who used to be a hostess at an NYC restaurant said Beyonce was perfectly nice when she served her. According to Cheat Sheet, Julia Carolann shared a video on TikTok where she "rated" famous people that she met at this restaurant. She said that Jay-Z and Beyonce were both at the restaurant and she waited on both of them. Her rating for Beyonce was 10,000,000 out of 10. This story is very different from the previous one, as Beyonce said "thank you" and even smiled. While Beyonce was rude to one server in Houston, she was nice and pleasant with this one in NYC.

According to Distractify.com, Beyonce went to a place called The Temple Bar in Dublin, Ireland, back in 2013 when she was touring the world. She even gave the place an Instagram shout-out. John, the bartender for the restaurant, posted a video online and said, "She said she liked the Irish Coffee. I said, 'Well, if you liked it, you should've put a ring on it."

Is Beyonce Rude In General?

There are some other stories about Beyonce that definitely make fans wonder if she has been rude at other times and not just to restaurant staff.

According to Buzz.ie., Beyonce and Jay-Z didn't stand up when they were at the Super Bowl in 2020 when Demi Lovato sang the National Anthem. People were upset about this as standing during this song is a sign of respect.

People also say that Beyonce was rude to Joaquin Phoenix. When the actor won the Best Actor in a Drama award at the 2020 Golden Globes, everyone in the audience gave him a standing ovation. But Beyonce stayed seated, according to Cosmopolitan.com, much like she did when Lovato sang the anthem. Many of the singer's fans tweeted about this and didn't seem to have a problem with it. One tweeted, "Beyoncé sitting during the standing ovation for Joaquin Phoenix's win is the type of energy I want to see from everyone in 2020."
