According to Nicki Swift, the day Beyoncé realized the impact of her interviews, was the day she decided to be a lot more selective with what she chooses to do.

"She has to be studying how effective her interviews have been so far. She may have decided that they do not contribute as dazzlingly to the portrait of Beyoncé as the other stuff. It's a perfectly reasonable decision."

It is also said that Beyoncé decided to scale things back when she became a mother, choosing to keep her family life private. Beyoncé seems to be comfortable detailing her life on her own terms, like through essays and music. Her recent Renaissance album was an example.

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world,” Bey said about her album.

“It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

The interview has over 5 million views on YouTube. Beyoncé sat down with Extra's A.J. Calloway. It became evident early on in the interview that questions were going to be very personal.

"I know you can cook," the host said. Beyoncé would also be asked about having children, "Eventually, when it happens it happens," she said.

The interviewer was also adamant on constantly bringing up things about Jay-Z, even asking if he wanted to be a father. It was at that point when Beyoncé finally looked upset with the way the interview was going.

Despite the interview going off track, fans for the most part praised the way Beyoncé handled it.

One fan writes that there may have been a deeper reason behind Beyoncé's mood during the interview and questions.

"I feel bad for her. In her documentary she admitted of losing her child around that time, later 2009, 2010 yet at that time everyone was asking her about kids, she must have been really hurt by that. People can be so nosy and annoying."

Another fan praised Beyoncé for not giving in to the personal questions. "That was not even rude. The reporter kept asking her personal questions and then continued to ask questions that only her husband could answer. Men get asked questions about their work and women get asked questions about personal topics like babies and relationships. I would be pissed too."

The interview definitely didn't come across in a positive light - but fans also pointed the finger at another Beyoncé interview which went completely off the rails as well.
