It's safe to say that in Hollywood, love very rarely lasts forever. Frankly, we've gotten used to seeing our favorite couples split — and 2021 has so far been no different. Today, we're taking a look at all those celebrity couples who decided to go their separate ways recently — whether they just broke up or filed for divorce.

10 Bill And Melinda Gates
Kicking the list off are business magnate Bill Gates and his wife Melinda. The two recently announced that they're getting a divorce after 27 years of marriage. On Twitter the couple shared a brief statement:
"After a geat deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. We have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives."
9 Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez
Next on the list are musician and actress Jennifer Lopez and former professional baseball player Alex Rodriguez. The two stars announced in April 2021 that they are going their separate ways. Here's what their exclusive joint statement to Today said:
"We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."
8 Kim Kardashian And Kanye West
Let's move on to Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West. Earlier this year news broke that the two are separating and in February 2021 Kim Kardashian officially filed for divorce.
Luckily, it seems as if the couple is breaking up on good terms — and they even agreed to joint custody over their four children as well as no need for spousal support.
7 Addison Rae And Bryce Hall
TikTok couple Addison Rae and Bryce Hall are next on our list. The two confirmed that they were dating back in October 2020, however, it seems as if the romance didn't last long. Earlier this year, fans noticed that they have stopped appearing on each other social media — and quickly everyone realized the two are not an item anymore. In an interview on the podcast BBF’s with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, Bryce admitted that he and Addison broke up in February.
6 Ashley Benson And G-Eazy
Another famous couple who unfortunately made it onto today's list is actress Ashley Benson and musician G-Eazy. The two stars — who were the first linked to each other in May 2020 — also broke up in February 2021. At the time, fans were already speculating whether the two may have gone their separate ways as Ashley Benson has unfollowed G-Eazy on Instagram.
5 Ben Affleck And Ana De Armas
A Hollywood couple that made it onto today's list are actors Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas. Earlier this year the two decided to go their separate ways after almost a year of dating. A source for People magazine revealed that the main reason the two broke up is that they are at different stages in their lives and "their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn't want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles."
4 Zac Efron And Vanessa Valladares
Let's move on to Hollywood star Zac Efron and model Vanessa Valladares. The two started dating last June, however, it seems as if Zac Efron has changed his mind recently.
A source revealed to Us Weekly that "Zac is about to start a busy year of filming and wanted to make a clean break now." According to the source, Zac "was getting in too deep and spending too much time" with Vanessa, and "he felt it was best to end this now."
3 Saweetie And Quavo
Musicians Saweetie and Quavo are next on our list. In March 2021 fans noticed that the two stars unfollowed each other on Instagram. The two have been linked to each other since 2018 so it safe to say that this breakup wasn't easy. Saweetie confirmed that she is single by tweeting:
"I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women."
2 Rebel Wilson And Jacob Busch
Next on the list are actress Rebel Wilson and businessman Jacob Busch who are yet another celebrity couple that broke up recently. The two met in 2019 but it wasn't until early 2020 that they actually started dating. In February 2021, the couple split and a source close to them revealed to Hollywood Life:
"It just reached its end because they are just in different spots in their life. When they started talking about the future, they thought their future would be together, but they found out fast that they didn’t have similar mindsets on settling down, career goals and all of that. No heartbreak, they are cool with each other. It just ran its course."
1 Zoe Kravitz And Karl Glusman
And finally, wrapping the list up are actors Zoe Kravitz And Karl Glusman. Earlier this year Zoe filed for divorce from Karl after 18 months of marriage. However, the couple has been mostly private about the relationship ever since they were first linked to each other in 2016 — and no one has yet revealed why their marriage didn't work out.
