Fans are accustomed to seeing Billie Eilish in the headlines, as she's been very active on social media, teasing all of her new and exciting projects. She's been releasing music at a  fast and furious pace, and has recently released her highly anticipated documentary, The World's A Little Blurry. That very documentary has revealed a detail about her love life that has landed both Eilish and her ex-boyfriend in a lot of hot water.

This documentary serves as a hot new look into Billie Eilish's world, revealing never-before seen elements of her life behind the cameras. Unfortunately, it seems she didn't think through all the juicy details she shared with her fan base, and one particular element about her love life is now under scrutiny.

Facing extreme backlash for dating someone that legally should not have been involved with her, Eilish is now defending herself and frantically trying to do some damage control.

Billie Eilish Slips Up

Revealing personal details is always a risky move for celebrities, and Billie Eilish pressed through her reservations by coming out of her shell on her own terms within this documentary. Completely in control of what she shared with her fans, Eilish allowed the cameras in to her private world, and spoke openly about aspects of her life that had previously been safeguarded.

While the documentary itself has been very well-received, Eilish's relationship with Brandon "Q" Adams is definitely causing an uproar. Not only did Eilish admit to some very unhealthy shared moments between them, but the mere age difference in their relationship is sparking controversy.

The documentary reveals an intimate relationship between Eilish and Adams which unfolded in 2018 and 19, pegging Eilish as being just 17 years old, while Adams was 5 years her senior. This casts serious doubts, and highlights Eilish as being underage, and completely out of bounds for Adams.

Backlash Over The Age Difference

Making matters even worse is the fact that Eilish's documentary reveals a series of unhealthy exchanges between the couple, and depicts Adams as being dangerously aggressive. She depicts a moment in which he punches a hole in the wall, and speaks of his detached emotions.

Hindsight is 20/20 and it seems Eilish is now trying to back peddle a bit. In hopes of silencing the anger of her fans, she has spoken up and asked them not to harass her ex-boyfriend or cause him any trouble. She addressed her fans by saying; "remember to be nice to people no matter what! I love you guys, thank you for protecting me, but remember to be nice."

The hatred runs deep for Adams online, and the tweets accusing him of being a pedophile that took advantage of Billie Eilish are plentiful.

Whether or not this will silence the haters and those that are worried about Eilish's well-being remains to be seen.
